Kelsey Smith News Conference Coming Up On Fox News 1pm EST
240 FBI agents and other LE on the scene. Cell Phone signal from Saturday night found in field.
KELSEY SMITH of Overland Park (Kansas City area) disappeared on Saturday, June 2 around 7:00 PM. She was last seen in the parking lot at the Target store at 97th and Quivira, behind the Oak Park Mall in Overland Park.

Thanks Sarge, I was just reading about Kelsey and watched some of the video links on ctv. I hope there is good news on the way.

It is constantly being covered but the news conference has not begun. They say momentarily but are filling in with interviews from family and friends.

FBI, DEA, police academy students a lot of officers from different offices and counties are searching.
More then 50 officers and detec. working on leads.

It is the Longview Lake area that they are searching. They even have the police academy students there too. They do not want any volunteers there.
They have had over 500 leads.

I think so too, it looks like a big area but within the time frame of when she was abducted and when her car was returned , he didn't have a lot of time to hide her very well. I pray and hope she will be found safe but it is not likely.

I've been following this case on CTV.
Now there is a rumor her phone has been found and it is a "body recovery" effort.
This is HERESAY....helicopters have been asked to leave......
So take it for what it's worth right now...MAY be a false rumor.
This case is heartbreaking.

No......they found "pings" from her cell phone picked up by towers near an area with a field/park/lake etc.

another teen missing in the same area Smith was found. Wonder if there is a serial killer in that area? News is reporting several similarities in te 2 cases.

I was just on her site and there is a news link about her having a restraining order on her ex-boyfriend. With a pic of the ex......and you'd be amazed to see the ex looks like the "poi" in Kelsey's abduction.
