Phony or Bad Email Addresses

If you are planning to Register or change your email address do not use a phony Email address. Today I had 2 bounces of that type.

The "rules" I use is simple. If someone registers with a bad Email Address then they are probably a spammer and therefore their registration and nick are deleted.

If someone who was registered and changes their email address and it bounces, if they have no posts I will just delete the username, if they have posts I will leave them deactivated forever.... (or at least until they email at admin@refugeesunleashed.net or refugeesunleashed@gmail.com and ask to be reactivated)

In the case of a registered user who has not changed their address but starts getting bounces, I will PM them and if after a week I have had no response, then I will do as per the above paragraph.

I also want to add, if you change your email addy in your profile yourself, you are deactivating yourself. Its automatic.

Ask one of the admins to change it for you, that way we can immediately change the "not activated" to "activated" and you aren't locked out.

Its just a phpbb thing, they think new email is new user so not activated
