The French
As most of you know, I am quite smitten with my adopted homeland and have never experienced anti-American sentiment in the 5+ years that I have lived here. (Anti-Bush sentiment, yes, but never anti-American)
Jeff Steiner, another ex-pat, publishes a monthly newsletter, Americans in France, and I would like to share an article in this month's newsletter about the crash in November, 1944 of a B-26 bomber and the honors bestowed on the dead airmen by the French townspeople.
