New DNA Evidence found at Scene
Case is now mounting against the Italian boyfriend of Amanda Knox....it was announced today that his DNA was found on a piece of Meredith's bra that had been cut off from the original garment.
The boyfriend's father is saying that it can be explained away if Amanda had borrowed Meredith's bra at some point and that is how Rafael's DNA was found on the garment...

-- but unless I'm reading the article incorrectly, the part of the bra that was cut off (the fastener part) with his DNA was cut from the bra that Meredith was wearing when she was killed. They just didn't find that part until some time after.

a small piece of fabric with Rafaele's DNA they just found in the the Knox-Kercher flat?

there is also a bloody bare foot print in knox's room. the corriere della sera and la stampa have done a good job on this case. the british press either seems to be translating the italian articles or is incredibly late to publish. this from yesterday's telegraph.

I read the article and the fastener that was found was NOT from the bloody bra at the time of her murder, and so, my question is, how is the DNA on the fastener important?

i suggest amanda has implicated raffaele
and possibly involved him in the cleanup. i am still waiting for a clear motive. murder seems a bit far for jealousy and a small amount of money.

a sexual attack involving two men and
a woman? if so, foxy put the other two up to it. i think she got the black kid to do something to meredith and then framed raffaele when caught out. she never mentioned the other guy, who is placed at the scene by forensic evidence, instead tried to implicate lumumba. very fishy.

Very telling I would say.
On a different note, the defense lawyer of Joran, mr. Joe Tapicono, is now speaking on behalf of two persons who seem to be confronted with an ever growing load of evidence against them: Amanda -Foxy Knoxy- Knox and Joran van der Sloot. Anyway, both Tapicono and Peter R. de Vries, the Dutch crime reporter, (pronounced by Tapicono as if he (Peter R.) was taken out of a bag of French fries ..) have tremendous large EGO's. They have an irresistable drive to SCORE, no matter the subject. I still prefer Peter R., at least he pronounces foreign names correctly -- a measure of correctness and accuracy. Coming this Sunday evening, Dutch TV viewers will be confronted with - in the words of Peter R. - the ultimate proof of involvement of Joran in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. I persuaded my wife to watch the programme, at the expense of Holland's most watched reality soap "Farmer seeks wife". Life is about choices folks: who will be the real WINNER: Peter R. or Tapicono?
