John Grisham's Non-fiction book, "THE INNOCENT MAN"
Very good book, great story telling and it's non-fiction.
Takes place in Ada, Oklahoma, Barry Scheck and the Innocent project was involved. I won't say too much incase someone plans on reading the book, Sure does make one wonder just how many innocent people are on death row. And if not on death row, just in prison.
The U. S. district court judge for the Eastern District of Oklahoma that received the habeas corpus appeal was Judge Seay, a quote from an interview "....My friend asked " Is he a murderer?" I replied simply, "We won't know untill he receives a fair trial."
Another thing I find that is outrageous, The time it takes to review a case, months, that turn into years! That in and of itself is unfuckingbelievable.
