Police: Florida Woman Disappears With Kids, 16-Year-Old Love
Police were searching for a 28-year-old married woman and a 16-year-old boy who quit their jobs on the same day and allegedly exchanged sexual text messages before disappearing with two children, MyFOXGulfCoast.com reported on Friday.
Greg Leavitt said he last saw his wife, Angela Leavitt, on Tuesday on Chuckwagon Lane in Milton, Fla. Angela Leavitt is believed to have disappeared with the teen, with whom police say she is sexually involved.
"I have two children out there and getting them and the teenager back safe — that's the whole point of this," said Greg Leavitt of his children, Haley, 8, and Damion, 9, and the minor, the story reported.
Santa Rosa County police said they had intercepted text messages between Angela Leavitt and the boy that were sexual in nature and indicated the woman said she wanted to have his child, according to a Thursday report in the Northwest Florida Daily News. Police said the two allegedly had sex at least three times, once at the Leavitts’ home.
Police said an arrest warrant was issued after they interviewed the two but found they were missing when they went to serve the warrant at Angela Leavitt’s house, according to the Northwest Florida Daily News.
Greg Leavitt said they probably are in a gray 2005 Dodge Durango.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.

PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Angela Leavitt had her first court appearance Wednesday. The appearance was originally for a prior domestic violence incident, but the judge threw it out. It was also her first appearance in the case of her alleged unlawful sexual relations with a minor. The judge said she will still be held on no bond. She will be back in court June 18th for an arraignment.
Leavitt had been on-the-run with the 16-year-old teenager and her children for one full week. Neighbors say she disappeared on June 3rd. "She pulled in put some things in another car then drove off and I haven't seen her since," said one neighbor.
However, things started to pick up for investigators on Monday when the teenager 16-year-old called deputies from Pensacola.
Then on Tuesday afternoon Leavitt was spotted in the baggage claim area just before 1:00 at the Pensacola Regional Airport, apparently coming from a connecting flight out of Atlanta. That's when airport police arrested Leavitt, who was with her attorney and two kids. Leavitt told the arresting officers she was in the process of turning herself in to the Santa Rosa County jail.
Whether that's true or not, that's where she spent Tuesday night. Leavitt is being held without bond. She faces a felony charge of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

The children, 8-year-old Haley and 9-year-old Damien are now back home with their father. He's just trying to make things as normal as possible.
Greg Leavitt said, "I saw them I was happy, knew they were back home, where I needed them to be, overwhelmed excited, all the feelings at one time, hard to put them into words."
Leavitt says they are too young to understand where their mom is and what she's accused of doing. Leavitt was sent back to jail without bond. She'll be in court on June 18th for an arraignment.
