Her nickname is "Kay" - not Kat - if you kept calling me by the wrong name I would keep you on "Global Ignore" (whatever the freak that is) - until the 12th of Never. |

rofl --- excellent idea but I think it can probably be assumed fairly accurately.

Keep.
I actually logged in tonight with the intention of putting yet another fatuous poster who has a lot to say but nothing to contribute on ignore.
It seems to me that the problem isn't the ignore function as such, but that for some odd reason it is active for non-logged-in readers. This may be reasonable for the use of admin/mods but it's strange that anyone seems to be able to place any poster on ignore for non-logged-in readers. That aspect certainly should be changed.

It's actually Kay_The_Kitten. Therefore, not too far from 'Kat', IMO.

Are you new here?
It's not in blue.

This whole ignore thing is cracking me up......first there was carping over getting the ignore function...now there is carping over to get rid of it.
Does anyone really think that anyone is being censored or that anyone here has anything so freaking important to say that it is being suppressed to hide it from the rest of the world?
And no....I know you did not say or imply that - I just tacked it on the end of this post.

Me too, resigned, just as funny as the first time I read something along the lines of hiding info from the rest of the world here. Will you do me a favor and log out for a sec and let us all know who is on ignore and who isn't? I think most here will trust your post on that. I'm curious if I really am the only one not on ignore. Thanks if you do, and thanks anyway if you don't.

Would depend if you do it as a side thing or if you've made a career out of it I suppose and how many voices you deal with each day.

I tried it and scanned over a couple threads - the only posters that came up on ignore when I was logged out were gwen and GBMW.

It may be confusing for those with more than one nickname at a time when they see themselves on ignore too.

maybe the most ignored posters should be nominated for
removal. can you imagine the new identities that would proliferate as people struggled to stuff the ballot box.
