Let Them Eat Cake

G8 summit: Gordon Brown has eight-course dinner (and six course lunch) before food crisis talks

Just this morning I read that PM Brown was urging grocery stores to end their BOGO sales because it was causing waste - people buying what they don't need and letting it go to waste. And telling people they need to clean their plates and quit throwing so much food away. True liberal (Socialist/Marxist) politics. Rather than come up with real solutions have you ever noticed that these politicians worldwide simply keep coming up with ways to dictate and micro-manage the behavior of the common man?

BTW - in case you don't read the article - He also flew to this meeting in Japan via a plane chartered from Texas that flew empty to go pick him up in Britain. GMAFB
