Thanks Katie, isn't this just like Groundhog Day?
That is exactly what the function is of these not-really-new-just-recycled posters. If they can keep people thinking in the timeframe BEFORE Natalee "went missing" we will NEVER get beyond that. The truth lies in the minutes and hours immediately following Joran leaving Natalee on the beach. But no one ever gets there- folks are stuck in the hamster ball ...round and round we go...
Get OUT of the hamster ball.
LOOK at the phone calls Natalee made at 4:00 am Aruba time, (3:00am Alabama time.) Even BETH refers to that timeframe- only she tried to say that Paulus was the one that said it- he didn't- SHE did. And she did it because she had to explain those phone calls!

I did get an answer once Fash stepped in.
In fact, she LISTENED to me and HEARD what I had to say about the damage the ignore feature was doing to the board.
YIF interrogated me, and allowed others to make fun of me. I have become used to the bias from YIF, I just didn't expect that about a legitimate board question. I was truly surprised and shocked.

YIF nicely asked you to get in touch with one of the Admins. Admin also pointed out in the past they are not full time sitters here. Finally words from a Mod:
Quote:
"Taking responsibility means dealing with the repercussions of what you have said on this board, Past, Present and Future. "
Pitting YIF against Fash and vice versa "fans the flames" for more in-fighting imo.

It was moved?
What provoked that?

I don't get it.
I honestly don't.
I was under the impression that thread was started in the Heated Exchange @ least that is where I originally saw it
btw & ftr, I was the one that moved it to the Questions, Suggestions .... ~ this forum ~

Thanks, Fash, so you didn't move it to HE. I do not believe that I moved it to HE because if it was started in a different thread and moved to HE, WoW would have commented at that time.
I have just reread that thread. No where to indicate that the thread was moved until you moved it to the Questions section.
I have talked to VC. Kay is extremely busy at this time. When she has a chance, she will check and hopefully be able to tell us where this thread originated. I think that there is a strong possibility that WoW, the opening poster, opened it in HE. If I am wrong, I have no problem apologizing. I sincerely do not believe that I moved that thread to HE.
Enough, it's still Bastille Day here and the fireworks will be beginning.

Well now that this has been moved from the HE...
Kay...
This is more than an annoyance.
My concern is that non-members can not read every viewpoint. And as you know, that translates to some members being edited. All views and opinions should be heard by anyone that comes to RU- not just some, but ALL.

Yep, I think that this thread was started by WoW in HE
Too bad Kay has to make a special check for this. Her time these day is very precious..

I don't get it either, Wow. It was moved to the Questions section NOT WEEKS LATER but the very same day that you started the thread.
You confirmed that in the previously copied post.
You are right. I don't get it at all. What is all this about?

IMO, this is dispicable, to take someone's signature or tag line and mock it and what their opinion is, is about as low as you can go.

Your opinion of anything I write or have an opinion about as being "dispicable" in not a bit surprising to me. Why don't you actually write something and give an opinion and stop criticizing, baiting and jumping on everything I and others have to say, that would be a real change. I have an opinion about WOW's rants and her one-sided view of the "consipiracies", get over it and stop baiting me, I am getting tired of this from you. You are also not other people's agent, they can speak up for themselves.

Yes RU Board Nanny, whatever you say. My opinion is that WOW sees a conspiracy everywhere but in her own mind and her sig line could be turned right around on her since she is one that is hell bent on proving what is not there. There sure is no evidence for any of it. Were you hired as her agent? Does jumping on everything I say do something for you?

A bit more info on WoW's thread:
The thread was opened by WoW on June 1 at 3:32 pm my time (which is +6 from EDT, +7 from CDT, +8 from MDT and +9 from PDT). At 5:57 pm my time on the same day, WoW made the post acknowledging that the thread had been moved from HE just two hours after she started the thread.
My point here is to respond to an accusatory post with accurate information and hopefully avoiding the necessity of Kay putting in unnecessary time and work to clarify this matter.
WoW, is it possible that you could perhaps give this a think and remember whether you opened the thread yourself in HE?

The site is really slow tonight....it is taking me between 35 to 45 seconds for a page to change. I've done everything on my end to clean things out...I'm hoping we are not headed for any problems.
Just thought I should let you know.

I noticed as well that the site is very slow! There was already a problem yesterday late afternoon, when it seemed RU was not accessable for an hour or two.
Today it seemed ok. But just now, I noticed that it takes a while (almost a minute) when clicking on a page or topic to show up on my computer.
Thanks in advance for checking out any possible problem.
