Potential v Reality
A boy asks his father to help him with a problem for his science homework.
He says: “Dad, I need to work out the difference between potential and reality.”
His father says: “That’s easy, son. Go and ask your mother if she would screw Robert Redford for a million dollars and then ask your sister if she would bonk Brad Pitt for a million bucks.”
The boy approaches his mother and asks her the question.
She replies: “Don’t tell your father but I’d screw Robert Redford for free.”
The boys then asks his sister the question.
She says: “They can keep the million, I’d bonk Brad Pitt for nothing.”
The boy then goes back to his father and says: “Dad, I think I’ve discovered the difference between potential and reality.”
“Tell me, son”, the father replies.
“Well, dad, potentially we are sitting on two million dollars”, says the boy, “but the reality is, we’re living with a couple of sluts!”
