These awards sound to be pretty prestigious and to even be chosen is an honor. It appears the selection process is rather stringent and all video is viewed for integrity and content.

a. All programs will be viewed in English only, using either subtitles or dubbing in English regardless of country of origin or where the program is being judged.
b. The Jurors are asked to rate each program on its own merits (not comparatively) by a point scoring system.
c. All Jurors for program categories are briefed prior to the judging procedure and informed that there are two criteria: Concept and Execution.
• Concept deals with the presentation.
Is it imaginative? Does it communicate the underlying purpose of the program? Does it capture and hold your attention?
• Execution deals with production value.
Are the sets, the camera work, the lighting, and the sound quality coordinated to enhance the presentation? Do the casting, costuming, writing, directing, editing, etc., convey the idea of this program effectively to the viewer?
d. All Jurors for performance categories are briefed prior to the judging procedure and informed of the following guidelines:
• Is the performer convincing and/or believable as this character?
• Did I forget he/she was acting?
• Does the performance capture and hold your attention?
• Is he/she effectively portraying the character in this program?
• Jurors will not consider language as part of their vote and will recognize that acting styles are influenced by the culture of each country.
e. All performance entries will be judged by international television professionals with experience in television performance.
f. The Jurors are asked to rate each performer on his/her own merits (not comparatively) by a point scoring system.
g. Jurors will not consider language as part of their vote.

So the rest of the tv world gives Peter an award for his show on Natalee.
Yet the Dutch powers that be still do nothing. Guess 1 good for nothing Dutchman is more promising than a potentail young American lady doctor!

Joran told her I have school the next day and I can not stay with you.
Joran rather hang out with Deepak until 3am on a school night.
So Natalee was fun at C&C but all of sudden no fun at the beach.
Go figure!
