Embedding sound clips in posts that autoplay

I have just removed a sound clip that played automaticially form a post,

I am not amused

Some posters screen this site from their workplace and the last thing they need is this sound polution. In addition those who are still on a dialup do not have a large bandwidth and do not need the lag caused by this.

First and only warning,
First offence will be a timeout second will be an outright ban

A small clarification, Embedded sound clips that play when the RU page is opened is a banable offence. We also take exception (Although not as strongly) to links that do the same if there is not a warning. It is possible to post U-Tube and similar site links so that one goes to the other site and sees a webpage that displays information about the clip and then gives you an option to play the clip. This is the preferred method. If you wish to post a link that will auto play, then have the uncommon courtesy as to warn in the post that this link will auto play, or the mods and admin will definatly take exception.

I will add that I find it increadable how some children love to push the limits to see if they will be spanked. For a couple of years now RU ran with no issues regarding utube clips, until a few individuals tried to take the choice of wheather to play them or not away from our posters.
