Police responded to a 911 call to investigate a possible slaying on Friday. Officials said Patricia Kaliszeski, 58, was lying face down in a pool of blood on the floor of her bedroom after her ex-husband discovered her body.

the victim, shown at left, had suffered multiple stab wounds and a deep cut across her throat, Palm Bay Police Department spokeswoman Yvonne Martinez said.
Witnesses said Tanguay told them he had killed a woman, and Martinez said the statements were supported by evidence found at the crime scene.
Detectives said he gradually told them about each level of violence. He said he started with a single stab wound and then knew she was going to die so to keep her from suffering anymore he went ahead and cut her throat, bending the knife at the tip.
"This is obviously an extremely disturbing crime," Palm Bay Police Department Detective Ernie Diebel said. "The witnesses did the right thing in coming forward."
Tanguay confessed to the crime during a police interview.
Investigators said two of the teens' friends came forward after he had bragged about the incident.
