Oh more than that, trust me. My typical outfit for a day at work last week (and I work in a very small office, so we do not have to "dress for success" by any means) was: sweat pants with long johns under them, socks, a heavy sweater with a long-john top under that. I looked just lovely.

OMG I LOVE my long-johns. Thumbs Up Laughing Fit 1

Yeah Elaine, watching the Eagles. Wait till you see that new stadium in Dallas. It's insane in the membrane. Da Igles never play two bad games in a row, so expect a classic tonight.

It's all about the comfort baby! I'm wearing fleece sweat pants and a long sleeve t-shirt and a comfortable Carhart flannel shirt and big wool socks. I also have a cream colored Edde Bauer sweater that I just love. When I go out I have a big black parka and a goofy looking bombardier hat and wool gloves without fingertips and clunky boots. I look like Elmer Fudd hunting wabbits.

It was all of 28 degrees here, in sunny Florida this morning....so it seems we are all in about the same boat regarding the temp. Hubby went to get in his car this morning, and a lizard was spread eagle on the hood, totally frozen....hard as a rock.

I think they go into hibernation when it's like 40 out. Was he dead? Those things get big. When had one as a pet when I lived in Miami. He got like 4 feet long from tip to tip.

It was one of those little camelions, not an iguana. Although, I heard iguanas were falling out of trees, frozen. I think there is a youtube about it.

Does anyone know if RU has a tech page with advice for getting rid of viruses, etc? I don't have one, but there are some new ones out there that are infecting some of my coworkers' computers, and I am wondering if some info about this might be available. A friend of mine at work got the first one in Dec, and it was called "live anti virus" and now she has a second one called "personal security" which pops up on her computer looking just like windows, and it is insidious in taking over your computer, sometimes feeding you false info about what it claims to have found on your computer....so far the common ground is that everyone who has it is runnning free antivirus like AVG. Anyone heard of this?

PS...I have been meaning to share this: last time I had to log on here, I was typing in DocTar, and I 'accidentally' typed in DocTart...I laughed so hard I almost wet my pants. Laughing

Hey DT, I don't know about those but there is a website by Kim Komando, she's a computer guru and also has a radio show. I've gone there at times when I had different questions about things.
Maybe there might be some info there.

AVG is wonderful, IMO, never had a problem with it.

I HIGHLY recommend getting Malwarebytes.com free software for getting rid of nasty adware. Our computer techs told us about it, at work, and I love it.

Doc my husband is a computer expert and he runs AVG on all the computers he fixes. The important thing is you need to update it frequently. He also uses the website Malwarebytes.com (SS referred to it earlier) and spybot. These are both free and also have to be updated frequently because there are new viruses that pop up all the time.

And BTW I think DocTart is a great name. Very Happy

Thanks for the links and info about tech questions. I don't run AVG myself...I am a Kaspersky fan...but the ones that have older versions are the ones getting infected by that new bug. Thanks...doctart Wink

Same here, DT. Peter runs AVG on all of ours, and we have for the past few years.

Hi all, well we're starting to thaw out in FL. It got up to maybe 70 today. My office was still cold though. It's supposed to rain this weekend. But I think our "frigid" weather is over, at least for a time. And if it comes back I doubt it will last as long.

I kinda enjoyed it though! Very Happy Made me feel like I was "up north" again.

Good Saturday morning. Supposed to be a nice day, but soaking rain's in the forecast for tomorrow.

Off to do some trip errands, and tomorrow sorting through the mess of what to pack.

Have a great day.
