If you know english or a germanic language it is not that hard to pick it up quickly. Speaking that is. Learning to write it correctly is next to impossible, even for the Dutch.

Yes, the number of words and word formations that are similar to English is amazing. It even sounds a bit like English when spoken. Or English sounds like Dutch.

We're in Windsor, ONT and our next door neighbour has an in-ground pool. A couple of years ago, a female Canada Goose decided to build a nest next to the pool heater system. Just a reminder, folks, these fowl are protected! Thus, the nest and new 'mom' couldn't be disturbed. Sometime in the late spring, she could be seen 'teaching' the new-borns how to swim. All of them would be in the pool swimming in line, follow the leader style and at the end of the lesson, she'd heard them to the shallow end and nudge them up the steps and over to the nest.

This lasted for a few weeks before some experts showed up and collected the geese and took them to some kind of natural sanctuary where upon they were released into the wild. Very interesting to watch the geese carry on as though they owned the place!!

Just trying to be funny folks....wasn't meant to be serious. Actually, I was living in Germany at the time so the same comment would be apt there as well; in fact, that's where it got started!!

From FOB:

Quote:
I am sorry I had to let you wait for 4 hours.

The news I got was from very reliable sources but I could not get it confirmed independantly and was also advised not to release it as yet.

I just hope it is true and we can finally say that this is over soon.

I just can say that I am still confused.

Does anyone know what the news is?

Why would MF use the phrase 'I am still confused'??

Natalee has been missing for almost a year. Would anyone be confused if ALE found her remains? No, because after almost a year almost everyone seems to think the girl is dead, so finding her remains isn`t that strange.

Is it strange to think that the info MF has, is gonna be quite shocking? As in: Natalee is alive? Joran DID indeed have something to do with her disappearance? Natalee in a coma back in the US?

Maybe I`m way off here, but it wouldn`t suprise me, if this info is indeed gonna be BIG!

Rumors again. But he says it's from a reliable source. Hmmm...
Maybe it's very weird: she's alive or something.

Here is my short language story that I just love. At the circus in NYC with the little one. Tiger trainer is giving commands in German to the tiger. Little one says" "that tiger must be really smart, he understands German."

I don't know.
Maybe it's something even more surprising...

But the new arrestee is charged with murder conspiracy or something like that to do with murder. Seems to me that murder is still the working hypothesis. I hope the 'news' is not that they found some remains, but I am afraid that is what it is. I guess if she is dead, I hope they do find her remains.

Well if one is HOPING then it would have to be that she was alive - then all of the other hopes would be taken care of!

By the way can anyone tell me who MF is - where he is -- why he would have these contacts - so far no one at FOB has answered that question.

That`s true Lazlo, so i`ll bet if this pans out it`s HUGE Cool

And little children are learning every language quickly, i always noticed! Very Happy

But wouldn`t that be something if she`s alive and maybe lives in my neighborhood, and since i almost didn`t get out for the last year to try and figure out what happend to her on my pc, while she is here! ROFLMAO!! Laughing

Could mean it`s a good outcome, could mean otherwise.

I`m hoping for an end for this case: either good or bad. If they found remains somewhere on the island, I`m hoping it`s Natalee. Not because I hope she`s dead, but because if she is, it`s better for everyone to know now...

I hope this isnt taken the wrong way... but even finding her remains would be good news at this point.

In other words.. I would hope its true if i believed she is dead. Not because its happy but because at least there would be a way to bring her home.

but i REALLY hope its something else.

If they only found her remains than it still isn`t solved, so ìm hoping it`s something else....
