Human remains found at Sabana Liber (Aruba)
http://www.24ora.com/content/view/15089/5/
At Sabana Liber a group of persons that were hunting for iguanas stumbled upon human remains. It look like the ones that discovered the human remains took the skull to the police station. The police immediately alarmed the highest authorities and started an investigation. Some families of long missed persons came to the address and talked to the police to check if it was their missing family member. It is still unkown who this person is.

Thank you Reaver. Some family will hopefully have closure; there aren't that many missing in Aruba.

I agree it wasn't a bright move but not all people follow crime cases or CSI and haven't a clue about disturbing a possible crime scene if it is that. Hopefully they treated it with kid gloves.

Who would that be?

Of course those in Mountain Brook, Alabamy didn't come check if it was their missing family member.
They know where their's is.
Trust me on this one.

Where is Natalee, Slickster?
You claim to know - maybe some of those other families are reading here and would like to know with certainty that it can't be Natalee's skull. ...so they can remain hopeful that their loved one is either possibly alive or has finally been found and will be able to be buried.
Tell us all - do if for the Aruban families out their with a missing loved one. Where is she, Slick? - Where is Natalee? - you claim to know.

Sabana Liber is in a straight line pretty well from Monserret pond; it could be Natalee.

Shouldn't be too difficult to determine who it is, according to this website there are only a few missing persons on the happy island of Aruba. IF one were to believe their statistics, that is.

There are some missing for some reason. When Heyningen was found murdered and thrown into a cemetary, his buddy Gomez was still missing, and is not on the list.
Amy should not be on the Aruba list as the cruise boat was already to dock at Curacao.

Rumor/grapevine.....
"latest info is that its a very small skull, more than likely that of a child"
Not sure the truth of that statement, I just find 'em.

I don't know what it says - the pictures show cops at the scene - whether they were notified to come there or came after the skull was delivered to them is unclear. IMO

Jose Herera had been missing since July 31st/09. He was a musician and song writer apparently but had been hospitalized for depression. At some point he left the hospital and wasn't seen again. In that heat decomposition would have been rapid. Articles state a skull was found, other body parts, and parts of a belt and jean material.
Anything could have happened to him, he could even have gotten into problems with a choller and been murdered...who's to say. Yet there on the spot his sister ID'd him...his skull, and jean material? Whomever carried the skull out and contaminated the scene didn't do anything the others didn't do. According to the video the area wasn't taped off and people were walking all over the scene and then packed out the body parts in paper bags??? That's it? That's how they handle a deceased by unknown means? No coroner?? No labs testing?
I sure as hell couldn't ID my brother once all the flesh was off him!!
Being in papiamento and different papers saying different things, it's difficult to understand, but something is missing from the picture!

In some cultures/religions there is a lot of shame associated with suicide. Perhaps it was an obvious case and they are keeping quiet on the facts out of compassion for the family.

If it was an apparent suicide I am truly sorry. It is very sad when a person reaches such depth of despair and I meant no malice towards the family. The pictures show the family members distraught and all the others smiling.
I suppose I am just used to the fact that suicides here are treated no different than any other death, other than natural causes which means we have a coroner and testing is still done to rule out murder.
Initially I thought they would be bringing out Vincenzo, or Natalee, or perhaps Larsen.
