Is Glenn Beck On The Way Out?
Another F-Tard that beat up on Aruba.
Poor Glenn Beck
Poor Glenn Beck. While Glenn Beck is on the road having a mid-life crisis, the radio-turned-Headline News host's ratings are sinking.
In the Q2 ranker, Beck doesn't show up until the second page -- below every other CNBC program. He has averaged 78,000 demo viewers since day one, and 165,000 total viewers.
> Update: A spokesperson says the HLN 7pm timeslot is up 21 percent in total viewers and up 39 percent in the 25-54 demo for Q2...
When he premiered in May, he averaged 81,000 demo and 167,000 total viewers. In June, he sagged a bit, averaging 76,000 demo and 163,000 total viewers.
Now his show airs several times a night -- at 7, 9, and midnight -- so Headline News will point out that he actually gets three times as many viewers. But let's look at his individual time slots. At 7pm, Beck averaged 79,000 demo viewers in June. Showbiz Tonight averaged just a few thousand less last June. And he's actually down 19 percent among total viewers for the hour.
At 9pm, Beck is losing viewers for Headline News. In June 2005, Prime News Tonight averaged 110,000 demo and 317,000 total viewers. In June 2006, Beck averaged 82,000 demo and 196,000 total viewers -- declines of 25 and 38 percent respectively. Maybe Beck's premiere poll, "When Will the TV Show Get Cancelled," wasn't a joke...
+++++++++++++
Don't forget to close the door on your way out.
It's time for a change.

WOW...I saw his show yesterday for the first time. What an idiot. I thought it was some kind of spoof at first, but then I realized he was meaning to be serious. And then there was the face gestures and dissing of Kevin Federline not that I'm a K-Fed fan, I really don't care what he and Britney do, but they are an easy target for jokes.....Beck just looked like a pathetic idiot....He makes me appreciate David Spade and his show on Bravo.
And then you get to top that off with a big, heaping, helping of Nasty Grace. What a lineup on CNN Headline News.

First time I watched this guy and what a d-bag he is.
He commented that the US should make Mexico the 54th state behind Iraq, Afghanastan, and ARUBA.
He declared that the US should be able to get a good deal on Aruba now since everyone is afraid to go there.

Actually, Nick, I`d make it the 54th state. Remember, us hatemongers, we`re already planning on making Iraq and Afghanistan number 51 and 52. And I`m really thinking that we should lock down Aruba for number 53, you know, while everybody`s afraid to visit there. I think we can get it cheap right now. |
