In my opinion, it is equally rude to trash and bash one's fellow posters.
And WangChung said it very well:

Whether it's an owner of the site, an Admin, a Moderator.. or just a fellow poster, it's RUDE to trash ANYONE.
And as far as respect, I've always believed those that trash other people don't respect themselves very much. |

As far as I can tell, my only "sin" is that I happen to think a certain bitch I have seen on my tv set is a media whore...I think ONE missing person case of a drunken nobody has been way overdone and overplayed
and I am honest enough to say that I don't think Natalee and whatever "horrors" she experienced...probably an overdose JMO...are all that earthshattering, important or newsworthy
sure any death of a young person is sad, any overdose or whatever, but not all this hoopla over a frankly irresponsible stupid drunk who went missing over a year ago...huge yawns

i suggest that mods have the decency to notify a poster they are 'deactivating" a poster by PM... BEFORE they deactivate... especially when they promised to warn the deactivee that they were in danger of being deactivated... how does one contact the mod if they have been deactivated? They can't... and how come certain posters get away with grooss negativism and some don't? |
BECAUSE this board belongs to VC & Joynow... they don't have to notify a poster before they deactivate. This isn't a farking democracy, there is no majority rules. They can do whatever they see fit.

The way to gain total power is to host your own forum.
If you want to post at a forum owned by another person, you must follow whatever rules they put in place or leave.

I completely understand how the boards work and that the mods have total power. I was actually asking because many who are now here have been banned from other Natalee sites. Some have protested loudly at their unfair treatment because they were banned from those sites. If it is fair for the mods to ban here why was it/ is it not fair for the mods of other boards to ban? I am too, Pooky...but I just figured that Wildcat was letting me know that he/she and others were probably banned "fairly" from some other sites. Therefore, to prevent anyone from bitching here of being banned "fairly"from other sites, we should be proactive and just preban or immediately ban anyone who has been banned from other sites,
Or we could do what we normallly do and just let other sites deal with their own bannings and reasons for them and we'll just deal with ours.
