They are not that great around here yet. I will be traveling up into the mtns next Saturday, so I hope they are in full color by then.

I was looking at the world's most daunting airports to land and take off and this was number three in St Marteen, Princess Julian Airport, look how low the planes have to come in, just skimming the fence close to the beach and then the runway is only about 7000 feet, not so much room for jumbo jets like 747's or A380's

wv ~ that picture's so much like what we see in this area. I remember when I was a little girl (longgggggggg ago) and my Dad would stop the car to look at the colors. He'd always say that he wished he were an artist, and could capture that moment.
N2K, speaking of planes ~ my brother has a 4 seater, a Mooney, and on Sunday we're flying upstate to my Dad's grave ~ something we do before or during the Jewish New Year. I'm sure the scenery will be exquisite, and we're low enough to see all of it.
