That leads to other questions which are relevant to this timeline:

1. Did they go to Joran's house at all? If so, why are K2 saying they didnt?

2. Did they go to the lighthouse? If so, why is Joran saying they didnt?

If you eliminate either the lighthouse or Joran's house from the timeline then there's plenty of time for them to arrive at the beach by 1:50. Otherwise I dont see how it's possible, even if you allow for clocks being out of sync by a minute or two.

1:18am Deepaks car is caught on camera.
1:33am 15 minute ride to Joran's apartment.

MF states the cops asked Jorans neighbors if car was by Joran's apartment. They did not see it bt its 1:33am Monday morning when people have to go to work in a few hours I think they are asleep.

How long is the ride to the lighthouse from Joran's apartment?
Say at least 5 mintues. 1:38am.
Deepaks gets out and pees.
Heads back to the beach. Time now 1:43am
Deepak and Satish arrive home around 2:03am and the first thing
they do is get on the pc.

The key is how long is the ride from Jorans apartment to the lighthouse
and the lighthouse back to the beach.

The 1:18am drive around C&C to the 2:00am log on at 2k pc almost does not seem possilbe. IMO! Thats 42 minutes for them to drive from one end of the island to the other.

Perhaps they have information that clarifies it, I dont know. I'm asking you if you know of anything that clarifies or contradicts this seemingly impossible timeline.

Oh, and you can get off your soapbox about posters creating false evidence and slandering people. That is happening net-wide on every side of this and it's not me who's doing it, so you dont need to address it to me.

It all depends on how you drive, the traffic and the road you take. From Joran's house to the main road there two options and to the lighthouse from there, 2 other options. One is a shorter way to get there.... But I will not speculate on the time....

They have seen someone who fits her description last Friday 3 June at a take away restaurant at Mahuma. And left in a white car.

Here is a note from a friend who works at a local hotel on Palm Beach. I did not know about the Soul Beach festival, it wasnt in any of our local papers here and I did not hear on the news channels.

The whole thing is very upsetting.
From what I understand, the girl was last seen getting into a car with 3 guys after leaving Carlos&Charlies. I don't know where the chaperones were, but according to witnesses there were a bunch of girls having real "Spring Break" kinda of wild partying fun at Carlos & Charlies which is know for that. I have been there only once and never been back since. There is definitely a lot of drinking and more than likely 'party' drugs and what have you at Carlos & Charlies, usually not a place I recommend. There is something really fishy about the whole thing...but no one is the wiser.

The whole island is praying this girl will be found alive somewhere but it's has been more than a week now. It is horrible...I really do believe the island is safe otherwise, this is not the kind of thing that happens here, it just isn't.

According to the guys she left with, the girl was dropped off at the Holiday Inn after which she decided to go downtown to the Soul Beach Festival which is organized by Sinbad, a comedian from the US. It's always a huge happening and held during Labor Day weekend so a whole lot of mostly young people fly down from the US for that. After that, the girl was not seen or heard from again.

Now they have arrested two security guys in connection with Natalee's disappearance, let's hope we'll have some answers soon.
There are at least 40 FBI agents here as well as some divers from the FBI...

All we can do now is pray!

So I take it there is not a way to make the timeline work - they couldnt have gone to Joran's house and the lighthouse. Did Joran at any point give a declaration that they went to the lighthouse - I dont remember.

Yes, I remember him saying that on Greta. I was just wondering if he had ever said they went to the lighthouse in any of his declarations. I will look it up because I have forgotten.

In any event, as of this date we have Joran saying they did not go to the lighthouse and K2 saying they did. We also have Joran saying they went to his house and K2 saying they did not. Correct me if I'm mistaken about that.

I drive from CnC to Joran's house in 6 minutes. I do that daily.

I drive from Joran's house to the Marriott in 4 minutes. I also do that daily.

I drive from CnC to the Marriott in 9 minutes. I do it several times a day.

I am 100% absolutely sure about the times. My daughter goes to school close to Joran's house and I work close to CnC.

Two trains leave different cities heading toward each other at different speeds. When and where do they meet?

Train A, traveling 70 miles per hour (mph), leaves Westford heading toward Eastford, 260 miles away. At the same time Train B, traveling 60 mph, leaves Eastford heading toward Westford. When do the two trains meet? How far from each city do they meet?

With Glenda's times it's possible. That is shaving off every bit of time - it assumes that they stopped at Joran's no longer than a minute, and that it took them only 2 minutes to circle the block twice at C&C, no allowances for slowing down when they approach their destinations - it also assumes Deepak is driving about 60mph to the lighthouse and everywhere else.

Joran says this about the timeline:

When we, on May 30th, stopped in Deepak's car in front of my house, it was about 01.40 am. At that moment in time Deepak, Satish, Natalee and myself were in Deepak's car.

When Natalee and myself were dropped off at the Marriot Hotel by Satish and Deepak it was approximately 01.50 am.

I guess this is after he changed his story and was now saying they went to his house but didnt go to the lighthouse. So why are we trying to fit the lighthouse and Joran's house into a timeline when we already know that they did not BOTH happen?

And to answer my own question - Joran did say they went to the lighthouse and then changed his story.

Joran June 9:

When she startled awake again she asked me where we were and I answered her that we were at the Lighthouse. Natalee then said to me that we should take her to the Holiday Inn Hotel because she had to travel the next day. We drove up to the lighthouse and then we took the same road down again towards the Holiday Inn. While we were driving in the direction/towards the hotel, she dozed off several times/fell half asleep several times and we didn't kiss anymore.

The on the 14th Joran leaves out the lighthouse and says instead they went to his house and directly to the beach. That is also when he said Deepak drove him home at 3:45 am.

And in his interview with Greta, he says:

VAN DER SLOOT:

I mean I wouldn't know why they wouldn't admit that, you know, his brother picked me up. I don't know why they both wouldn't say that. That's just something that — that for me that's mind boggling for me I mean. And they're saying also that we went to the lighthouse when we never even went to the lighthouse.

Well, gee, Joran also said they went to the lighthouse at one point. Who is it that believes Joran has now told the truth?

Vivi, I don't think I have ever, even once driven 60 miles per hour on Aruba. Although I could if I wanted to, but I'd have to hit the brakes as soon as I got to 60 mph, because I would already be where I was going. Confused
