Bookcovers are important to me. I find this a truly ugly
bookcover and an even worse title.

(The above is from the link)

Maybe it is interesting to mention that Vukojevic had a full insight in the police files, and has written her befindings based upon those, notes that Joran made, and interviews with Joran.

I would agree. I would have expected either a nicer picture of Joran, or something like the prison/handcuff one I've seen.

Maybe even a nice beach or blue sky background.

That is interesting.

Is she free to share or withhold her findings as fits her agenda?

Would the public ever know how close to the truth she writes or how far she strays from the investigation?

Depends on which investigation you're interested in. The books probably not going to be about Beth's investigation.

Quite funny:

1. Joran's book has more pages than Dave's. Obviously has more to say about his daughter than he does.

2. Joran's is a paperback, Dave's a hard cover, which should be quite expensive

3. Prices are about the same subject to currencey fluctuations.

4. Dave struggled, with no less than two authors to write his, that's 3 authors for his book, while Joran only needed one. With all that assistance Dave still got everything wrong. Including his current wife's name

The Bethie Chronicles v. De Zaak

VAN SUSTEREN: You're getting a lot of support from the United States,
particularly the U.S. Senate.
Who's called you and who's supporting you?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Oh, from the United States?
Oh, goodness. From Richard Shelby, Jeff Sessions,
Trent Lott, Governor Riley.

GEORGE "JUG" TWITTY: Trent Lott called this morning.

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Don Siegelman. There's a list...

VAN SUSTEREN: What do they say? Like, what did Senator Lott say when he called?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: You know, I think that just really
giving me that assurance that I needed to pursue this,
need to keep being aggressive as we are, and you know,
don't let this go, support that, you know, should I find that I need,
I can call on them.
And you know, just giving me that confidence that — you know —
we do need to pursue this, and we do not need to let this go.

VAN SUSTEREN: Jug, the thing that I still haven't sort of
sorted out in terms of information
are whether or not there's e-mail or text message
traffic in the middle of the night, going into the 31st,
between or among Deepak, Satish and Joran.
Do you know whether there was?

GEORGE "JUG" TWITTY: I think there is.

VAN SUSTEREN: Do you know, you know, what time it was,
whether it's text message, whether it's e-mail,
whether it's phone call or a combination?

GEORGE "JUG" TWITTY: They haven't told us exactly.
I mean, I know that there is some messaging back and forth.
Don't know exactly the times.
I mean, they're real, real hush-hush with all that information.

VAN SUSTEREN: Do you know, Beth?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: No, I don't. But there's something that really bothers me,
and I don't think I've made any secrets about it, I've kept a journal
of everything everyone said, what day, timeframes.
And there's something that really has been
bothering me as I read over and over my journal,
is I know on the 31st that Paul van der Sloot stated that
he picked Joran up at 4 a.m. at McDonald's.
It was also said to me by a police spokesperson
on June 16 and June 17 that Paul van der Sloot
stated that he picked up Joran at 4 a.m.
on the 31st at McDonald's.
But I noticed on the day that I visited Paul van der Sloot
at his home, all of a sudden, it was changed to 11 p.m.

VAN SUSTEREN: Perhaps there were two.

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Could have been, Greta.

VAN SUSTEREN: Does your journal entry —
because I've seen your journal, I've paged through it with you.
Is there an entry in your journal which actually has that 4:30?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Yes.

VAN SUSTEREN: And that was...

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: The 31st. That was from secondhand information.
Now, that was not from...

GEORGE "JUG" TWITTY: We have witnesses that were there
that night that heard...

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: ... ten witnesses.

-----------------
"11, 4, 4:30 ...ten !......yeah, that's the ticket..."

That's classic. Note how she back-pedals when pressed. To the point it seems that this is a splice of two completely different interviews:

VAN SUSTEREN: Does your journal entry —
because I've seen your journal, I've paged through it with you.
Is there an entry in your journal which actually has that 4:30?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Yes.

Very quick to suddenly lose her initial confidence this "damning" thing that she remembers that bothered her so, quickly palming it all off to the "second hand's"

Then Jug to the rescue with his ten soldiers.

Thing is Paulus' state to the police is the 18th of June in which he states quite clearly 23:00 is the time he picked up Joran. Maybe the day before the formal interrogation and the day before that he was bleating to the police about 4 am, as this woman claims?

There's something a little jarring about the cover, but it does give the impression of a young boy feeling very alone. He had his family support, but I can imagine how lonely those many months in prison were for a young 17 year old boy.

The cover may have been picked to convey this loneliness.

Isn't he still a suspect? Does the book mention anything regarding Joran saying a while back that in time he'll the truth or really what happened? Remember that? Then again the book will be worth a lot more if he gets nicked. For someone who doesn't know what happened to Natalee, it appears he has plenty to say. "Oh what a tangled web we weave,
When first we practise to deceive!"

Does anyone know if Beth plans on writing a book?

Ironic that Beth is called the money grubber ad naseum - what does Joran get out of this besides money? It's certainly not sound legal practice to write a book about the circumstances in which you're presently under suspicion for murder.
