Josef Fritzl has been writing begging letters to the daughter he locked up and raped in a secret dungeon for 24 years.
Every two weeks Fritzl, 74, pens a pleading note to daughter Elisabeth, 43, who suffered over 3,000 rapes at his hands and bore him seven incest children.
He says he needs money 'to study to be a lawyer so I can defend myself' – but Elisabeth never replies.
In some of the notes he asks for £3,500 to 'get me started' on his legal career.
He even moans ababout not being able to get special shampoo he claims he needs for his implanted hair.




Elisabeth is building a new life with the six children who survived the cellar hell beneath the family home in Amstetten, Austria, after she was freed in 2008.
The seventh child died three days after birth; Fritzl is serving a life sentence for his death and the rapes.
He was sentenced in March last year after dramatically reversing his not guilty pleas on multiple charges when he saw Elisabeth suddenly enter the courtroom.
From his cell at the psychiatric top security prison of Stein in Austria he bombards Elisabeth with the letters, seeking in turn forgiveness, money, understanding – and expressing the misguided hope that he will one day be free to spend his life with wife Rosemarie again.
Rosemarie and he brought up three of the six cellar children with them after Fritzl claimed they were dumped on his doorstep by his daughter who had run away to join a sect.

His wife has been shattered by the knowledge of what he did to their eldest daughter and now lives in a small flat alone in Linz, estranged from him.
There were tensions between Elisabeth and Rosemarie after they were freed from the cellar.
Elisabeth hated the fact that she took her father back into the family home when she was small despite the fact he was a convicted rapist – but now they have contact once more.
Christine said she visits her each week and is good with the children.
But Fritzl’s punishment is regretted by nobody.
Hated by the other convicts, he is alone in a single cell for nearly 24 hours a day with his food pushed through a small slot in the door.
There have been numerous death threats against him from fellow prisoners.
Doctors say he is not a suicide threat, but his mental state is deteriorating.
Fritzl’s sister-in-law Christine revealed the details of the letters he sends to Elisabeth in which he complains 'that I can’t even get a Cola' or special shampoo for his hair implants. There is never a word of regret or an apology from him.
'Josef dreams all the time of a future with his wife,' said Christine, 58.
'But she will not have anything further to do with him. She doesn’t love him anymore and has changed her name.'
Rosemarie has apparently lost two stone in weight, spends her days painting pictures and tidying her small flat.
She was not allowed to take any possessions from the rambling 66-room house beneath which her husband built his secret rape-dungeon because it is sealed by the court as Fritzl has debts of over £2million which must be settled.
As to Elisbeth’s future, Christine reported that she likes to go shopping, is looked after by the other residents of the village where she lives and passed her driving test first time
'She is looking for a car now,' she said.
'She likes wearing snazzy jeans and is proud of her children who all go to school and are doing well.
'She likes doing all the things she could never do in 24 years inside that cellar.'
She said she received nearly £50,000 in back child payments from the state and has 'no financial worries - so far'.
Felix, the cellar son of Fritzl who was just six when he was rescued – and who reduced policemen to tears when he pointed at the moon for the first time and asked them, 'Does God live there?' – has now totally 'forgotten who his father is,' added Christine.
