Joran's Book
from Lousw at BFN quoting someone at scrux ~

"According to what I was told by the publisher, Joran's book, written by Zvezdana Vukojevic, willl be released the third week of April. There is no American or English publisher yet.
The title is:
De Zaak Natalee Holloway: Minj Eigen Verhaal
(The Case of Natalee Holloway: My Own Story.)" |
Has anyone hear received an advance copy? Have one on order? Plan to read it? Buy it? Provide a translation for the linguistically declined?
A book report?
TIA

Pawleys and I will translate it for you; our conversion to Dutch should be complete by the date of publications.

If anybody can teach you how to swear, Hannie C can teach you. I still remember Hannie on the SM site always nice and polite, helping out with questions when she could and one night BAM! She had enough of J2K and the Dutch being flamed and cut loose. I laughed my ass off and still laugh when I think about that post, that night, out of the blue! I don't remember the exact nature of the post, but I think she used about all the cuss words in one post that you could imagine.
I was like "YOU GO GIRL"!

HannieC you should start a "Learn Dutch" thread in the "Feeding the Soul, Body & Home" forum... |
Lol, but the swearing part, or the really serious stuff?

Lol, I also don`t remember what I did post, it was probably my worst English ever also!!
But I still can be polite and helpful, Georgia, but at that time I read so much bullshit, and still tried to read it with an open mind, but indeed suddenly I had enough of the crapola, I only couldn`t expres myself that good in English, yet. LMAO

Hannie, I think you are a very sweet, helpful and caring person. We all have our limits. You patiently listened and replied to alot of Dutch bashing and had every right to blow up when you did. It was hilarious. Everybody was shocked as hell. Some even thought that your account had been hacked because that particular post was a totally different Hannie than what we had seen before.
I'm a firm believer that you can only kick somebody in the ass for so long before they kick back. When the level headed, patient people kick back it's gonna be ugly.

they say wild monkey brains are a delicacy
i am afraid these domestic varieties have no brains so don't count on much of a feast. and they are very unsanitary.

Ik gaf geen aandacht.

I wonder how much of an advance Joran has received for his book? The NE had a story about the book, in the fall of 2005.

Take from fob posted by lovejust
In May 2005 disappears on Aruba the 18 year old Natalee Holloway. Joran van der Sloot tell the police at first that he took Natalee at night to her hotel- but the truth is that he left her at the beach. The mother from Natalee starts an enormous offensive through the media to find out what happened to her daughter; she accuses the Aruban police of corruption and incompetence.
Until now neither the FBI, nor the Dutch and Aruban police have discovered a trace of Natalee. In this book Joran reveals everything about his life and his encounter with Natalee; he tells about the 3 months in an Aruban jail and finally gives his opinion on her disappearance. He remains the main suspect.
Number of pages 384
The book will be available Tuesday April 17, 2007
So his books is going to say he remains the main suspect? I thought
Joe T said they were moving away from Joran being the main suspect?
2 years later and Joran is still the main suspect!
