08-27-2006 - Routing Issues between Cogent and AT&T
Some of you may have noticed the site being excessively laggy this afternoon and evening. This is due to a routing problem in Chicago between Cogent and AT&T, and might affect those of you that come into the site via that route. I have tested it from other connections, and it seems to be fine from all other locations, so this might or might not affect you.
Cogent and AT&T both are aware of the issue, and are working to resolve it in a timely manner.

Will this routing problem effect the size of some of Frances Ellen Byrd's  friends as shown in their pictures?

So far, no. It appears to be a localized router port with Cogent (the one that peers to AT&T), and they're notorious about not fixing things quickly.
