Larry Birkhead had some pals around to watch Barbara Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People of 2007" special Thursday night, but the evening didn't go quite as he had planned.
"Larry had been approached by ABC to be one of the candidates, but unknown to him they didn't use him," says a snitch. "So when they released all the names except the top one — the most fascinating person that they were going to reveal on the show — he thought it was going to be him. That's what he was telling people."
Sadly, No. 1 turned out to be "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling.

According to the source: "Larry even let the paparazzi know he'd be out shopping in L.A. on Thursday for Dannielynn [his daughter with the late Anna Nicole Smith], because he thought the papers were going to need fresh pictures of him."
Folks who did make the cut included David and Victoria Beckham, Justin Timberlake, Katherine Heigl, Jennifer Hudson, Bill Clinton, MySpace moguls Tom Anderson and Chris DeWolfe, Don Imus and Hugo Chavez. No Howard K. Stern, either!

I was so happy when they said he was the daddy. Then, he started selling pics of his daughter to the highest bidder and hasn't stopped since. Now, I am sorry that he has her. I wonder how much he will love her if she doesn't get all of Mr. Marshall's money?

yeah and he had the gall to tell anna that she was "pimping his daughter out". he has done 10 x the amount of "pimping out" in the same span of time. The media made him out to be the golden boy, Opri did her job there, but you just had to read his emails to her to know that he is not a nice person (i don't care what the situation is, to call a person names shortly after the death of their child is NOT nice, or to complain that she gave him HER cross that he had bought for her. uhh what? who in the world bitches at someone putting something precious of theirs like a cross in a coffin of a loved one?).
and im thinking he believed he would be one of the most fascinating top 10 ppl of the year. A sperm donor does not make him fascinating

I can't stand the hypocritical people that thinks its a big deal when Larry does it but not when Anna did as soon as her daughter was born and her son died.

i don't recall him living in Las Vegas, but he sure seems to spend a lot of party time there. Why did he have such a big bash for her b'day which she will have absolutely NO memory of?

I thought she left the country to run from Larry being the biological father? If Britney Spears can get her kids taken away from her surely Larry wouldn't of had a problem getting DL.
