The Great Debaters

I enjoyed this movie so very much and reminded me how far we've come in the struggle against racial hatred. It is based on a true story. Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker are at their finest.

I am probably the only person who doesn't know about lynching. My hubby, who is Scottish, even knew about Col. Charles Lynch in the American Revolutionary war, but OK, I didn't. Col. Lynch had to literally take the law into his own hands in fighting the Tories and the lynch law began.

Sorry for the ramble, but do yourselves a favor and see this movie.
