Split - Has the Michelle Young forum been closed perminantly
Has the Michelle Young been closed permanently or will it be reopened? cougermom

VC is the admin/moderator for that forum. She has closed it. I do not know whether it is a temporary closing.

cougermom, i closed it because it had posters suggesting other posters were the murderer *AHEM* and r/l usage ran rampant there. I tried every way i knew to make posters realize it was over the top as did Fashionista. Finally i closed it since no one listened.

victim cry, don`t you think someone who commits murder would be arrogant enough to post on a board? How many times have we heard that the murderer sometimes goes back to the scene of the crime???? I can appreciate your concern but given this posters obsessiveness and threats does give reason for concern for the safety of a few poster. You know I am NOT belinda/cougermom and I think IMO and saying this with respect you should have posted this fact on the board before it was closed. You have access to both our ISP and would be able to clarify. Since I DO NOT post on other boards with belinda you are the only one who could have cleared this up and maybe prevented some of the threats that were made to belinda and myself.
I just hate to see my favorite board closed. Please rethink....Cougermom

cougermom i was talking about the post made, and of course some could but we do not allow that sort of accusations against posters here, and given the outrageous behavior on that board in general neither myself, YIF or anyone else has the time or will to moderate it since no one seems to act like anything other than nasty there.
As far as your suggestion of me checking who ppl are either by ISP/s or anything else i would never try and investigate who someone is r/l. Either to see if someone's accusation might be "true" or any other reason. Its one of the boards biggest no no's. The only interest i have in any isp is if two NICKS are the same person and one has been banned. No matter what rumor's and things go on, admin here does not investigate who a poster is, care who they are except as far as their nick's behavior..as in is it an alter of another nick. We ban people for that very thing-r/l investigating! I don't even check what city someone is in and have no interest in who they are r/l
There have been far to many references to posters r/l on that forum. I could of course ban everyone who has made them, but that would mean banning every poster on that board almost (but not quite) without exception.
I will reconsider reopening it but that means no references to whom a poster is r/l it means absolutely zero accusations of crimes against other posters no matter which side they are on and acting like people who want to discuss a case not wholesale bashing. That is what HE is for and even there real life info is not allowed.
btw..to be honest i dont know who belinda is and im not sure why you are saying you are not cougermom since your nick is cougermom. I am guessing one is a r/l or a nick and one is a nick and you have the same nick and someone is posting elsewhere with your nick here.
And no i do not want to know who someone is r/l if it is a real life name of a poster.

VC,I don`t think I made myself clear on the names. I am cougermom but other posters are accusing belinda of being cougermom accusing me of posting under 2 nicks.. She and I both have attempted to clarify to those accusing us, that we are NOT one of the same. RPD went as for on Bonnies board of threatening her thinking she is cougermom. I really could care less for myself because I do read other boards but post here. I am concerned for belinda because she was very frightened with being threatened. Maybe i am overly concerned for this young women. Probably after rethinking and reading your response it is for the best the board is closed. My main point was to have you verify that I AM NOT BELINDA.
Looks like Bonnnie and Scout has also had to close their boards. Someone wants Jason convicted and will get any board closed who allows posters to even suggest someone other then Jason is the murderer.
I am retracting my request to reopen the board. I do understand you or others not wanting to baby sit a board that goes into melt down every day.
I may not be posting much here but will continue reading,there are so many nice posters on this form.
Thanks for taking the time to discuss this with me and I feel much better about the closing....cougermom

I really didnt have much choice, i mean the melt downs were on both sides daily. Figured close the board or ban ppl who are good posters (ahem..in any forum but that one  ) for r/l for meltdowns, accusations of who is who etc.
