Virgie Arthur "Not so nice granny"
Poor Virgie. Seems CBS smacked her ass when they attached copies of emails, sent on her behalf, trying to sell exclusive rights to her visit to Daniel's grave. The emails ranged from just days after his death to September 29, 2006. Her close, personal family friend David Leigh from Splash was her sales rep.

Anna Nicole Smith's long-estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, tried to make a fast buck off the death of her grandson, Daniel Smith. A source supplied The New York Post's Page Six with e-mails sent to "Entertainment Tonight" by David Leigh of Splash News on Arthur's behalf, offering the show exclusive rights to her private memorial for Daniel after his drug death in September 2006.
"She'll go to the Bahamas if you want . . . She would like to visit the grave, and it would make pretty emotive pix of her doing so," he writes.
Daniel, 20, died while visiting Anna Nicole at the maternity ward in Nassau after she'd given birth to his half-sister, Dannielynn. The Post said: "(Arthur) started hustling right after her
grandson died . . . She started hawking exclusive access to her own memorial in Mexia for Daniel . . . She's hunting media deals within days of her grandson's demise, while accusing (Anna Nicole's lawyer-turned-lover Howard K.) Stern of mopping up the money."

LB is not new to the paparazzi game. What does he think of his chosen profession now he's on the other side of the camera?
One thing DL has going for her is the strong family group of LB. It appears they are surrounding her well. LB goes out and about, being photographed with strippers and stuff. DL is insulated from that by LB's family.
The VA story began in the NY Post. Now, It's big news in the Denver Post. Nationwide. I love it.

You know i think as time goes on its more and more obvious that whatever issues Anna had she was no ones fool and could peg someone well.
So far she has been right about Virgie, and Larry. Shelley and GBT.
Seems to me that she stayed with howard because she was right about him too. She kicked the others to the curb and its pretty clear why.
Howard always said she was smart..so did she for that matter..not book smart but smart enough to know who was using her, who were the really evil ones.
Also think its obvious she was not a hopped up drooling addict. Substance abuse issues yes, that she was getting on top of..the autopsy levels show that. but not impaired and under howards spell. She was independent and knew damn well who was the good guy and the bad guys. There are functioning surgeons and ceo's who have substance abuse problems, so just having a problem does not mean you are unable to function

The recent events with Britney Spears shows that Virgie is a liar about Howard. She made the same claims about Howard that Britneys parents are making about Sma Lufti. The HUGE difference is that B's parents actually did something. *IF* Howard was drugging Anna, keeping her away from her family, and a tenth of what they claim they could have done something. The lame ass excuses that Howard controlled her were always weak.

Yeah, Virgie had so many choices to help Anna back in the day. Have any of you tried to get help for an addict in your life? I would imagine that it would be quite difficult dealing with just an average joe addicted person. Now add the publicity that would have arisen if Virgie made an issue. Anna had self accountability, and her mother is no excuse for her behavior. Just because Virgie looks like an ass, doesn't mean that Howard isn't a scum bag. I'm not spinning, just telling it how I see it. After all, I hear all opinions are welcome.
