Yet another media scam for Birkhead to make money!
LARRY BIRKHEAD and his daughter DANNIELYNN journeyed to the Bahamas this week to visit ANNA NICOLE SMITH's final resting place one year after the star's untimely death.
ET's JANN CARL was exclusively with Larry and the 17-month-old as she made her first trip back to visit her mother and brother DANIEL's graves in Nassau.
In a multi-part interview starting Wednesday, February 6, Larry says the visit is difficult for him, but he arranged it for his daughter.
"It's tough," he tells Jann. "Even though she doesn't understand, it was important for us to come. One day I can tell her that we went to visit her mom."
When they arrived at the unmarked gravesites, Dannielynn placed a pink toy turtle on Anna Nicole's plot and said, "Mama."
Explaining why the graves of Anna Nicole and Daniel are without tombstones, Larry says, "A rough draft came back with a sketch of a picture I didn't care for. I could just hear her hitting me over the head saying, 'Why did you let that picture go down!?'" Larry reveals that the design of the headstone will be "so grand and big. It's going to encompass Daniel's stone too."
When asked how he feels about making the journey from Los Angeles to Nassau, Larry speaks candidly. "I don't like the fact that they're here, I never did," he reveals. "I know that Daniel didn't want to be here, and I know that his mother was only here because of what was going on between us with the paternity question. To me it feels really odd."
On whether or not he has considered moving the graves, he says, "I'm going to leave the decision to Dannielynn when she's older. It would probably be very hard, if not impossible, to take both of them and I definitely don't want to separate them."

Seventeen months! Has it been that long? Glad the baby is getting in touch with who she is and who her mom is. Sorry that it wasn't done in private. It's over, Larry!

Is he not planning to take her back again? He says one day he can tell her he took her. Shes only a yr old, I certainly hope he plans to continue doing this so she can visit her mothers grave.

Taking time out from honoring the somber one-year-anniversary of ANNA NICOLE SMITH's untimely death, LARRY BIRKHEAD and daughter DANNIELYNN continued their Bahamas getaway with a fun day with the dolphins!
The happy daddy-daughter pair splashed around with their finned friends at Dolphin Cay, the new dolphin interaction and education center at Atlantis, Paradise Island resort.
The dolphins are the offspring of the famed "Katrina Dolphins," who were rescued after they were swept to sea when their former home at the Marine Life Oceanarium in Gulfport, MS, was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Birkhead wants cameras to show he’s a top pop
The pendulum of public opinion is constantly swinging when it comes to Larry Birkhead. One minute he’s a commendable single dad who sticks up for his daughter and the next, his intentions are called into question and scandal about his private life erupts.
The last couple weeks have been as volatile as any for Birkhead. He and Entertainment Tonight camera crews took an emotional trip back to the Bahamas together for the first time in nearly a year. (Bonus points went out to Birkhead for getting Dannielynn to call out for her mom on camera.)
That was followed up with a photo spread in OK! magazine, where father and daughter were pictured swimming with dolphins, clad in wetsuits emblazoned with the Atlantis Resort logo. “When it was all over, she was so exhausted that she fell asleep in my arms and I played a game of tickle nose with her. I kiss her on the nose and she just looks up at Daddy and falls asleep,” Birkhead told OK!
It sounds well and good, but when these moments exist in such a public backdrop — one Birkhead is reportedly well compensated for — it begs the question as to how long he’ll keep this gig up, and what his motivation is.
“With a nasty set of rumors and speculation facing him every day, Larry’s constantly looking for a way to prove he’s not the bad guy or the dishonest guy,” said one source close to Birkhead. “Any opportunity that comes along that allows him show publicly that he’s doing the right things for Dannielynn, he does it.”
Look for the next “opportunity” in March, when camera crews will allegedly follow Birkhead and Dannielynn into the recovery room after her upcoming eye surgery. The source added, “He talked about moving the date for the surgery up so that it would coincide with sweeps, but no such luck.”

I was thinking something similar that now the media is invested in watching Dannielynn's every move the rest of her life. Who will get the potty training gig? Is someone going to document her first shit on the potty? I see another reality show in the making.
