Police make 'breakthrough' in 1996 baby murder case
Police in far north Queensland have reportedly made a breakthrough in a long-running murder mystery.
The torso of a newborn baby was found on the driveway of a home in suburban Cairns in May 1996.
It is believed police have set up a crime scene at a property in Cairns and officers raided another house this morning.
More details are expected this afternoon.
