At least LE appears to be trying to keep the press at bay somewhat Confused

By PETER DE KNEGT
BONAIRE - An investigationteam of the police in Bonaire yesterday dug in search of traces that can lead to the body of the disappeared pharmacist-trainee Marlies van der Kouw (24).

There would be a search on a landfill near the spot where the woman has disappeared, and at three other places. That is confirmed by well-informed sources on the island.

Police spokesman Jos Klaren doesn't want to "confirm nor deny." this message, "Since we don't comment on the search, but I can say that we focused more specific on the search.''

Whether the targeted searches of the team are made based on information gained from interviews with the 24-year-old suspect Ryan P. or tips from the public, can't Klaren tell as well " because of the interests of the investigation".

Posting journalists try to follow outgoing searchteams from the police-station in Kralendijk expecting to learn more about the investigation. Yesterday morning it led even to a chase, where a police-team succesfully got rid of the pursuers during rides of 150 kilometers per hour on the narrow roads. Another trip of police-investigators to the northern part of the island lead to the policestation of Rincon. Journalists think that the suspect P. is to be questioned by Dutch policemen overthere.

P. was previously sentenced to eight years in prison for the abduction and rape of a woman. He is only three months out of prison. P. received after returning to the island no professional guidance, insiders know.

A tour on the island makes more clear with what problems the searchteam is to be confronted. As far as sight goes, all high cacti grow amid dry bushes on the cork dry land. Next of that, the island has about 150 caves as big that you can even easaly lost in them. If the body of Marlies has been dumped in one of them, it only can be found after a insiders tips.

Good morning to all, it would be really appreciated if articles without any discussion by the poster are posted in the articles thread, and if photos are posted, please size them so as not to blow the margins and make the thread very difficult to read.

I have moved the articles, without any discussion, to the article thread.

Thanks,

Johan, thank you for translating the articles. Are the people in the you tube that I posted in the article thread her parents? Does cadaver car mean that there was a body in one of the cars?

I could not find the part what you are asking about the cadaver car. If you mean in Dutch "kadaver bak", then it is a thing to retrieve pigs, cows or other dead animals from a farm..

Thank you so much, Henk? Briefly, what were her grandparents saying?

I was referring to the article that Johan55 posted on Oct 1 about Kar Kadavers. It was huge piles of cars and he says one is missing.

Briefly, they are saying they still cannot believe Marlies is missing.. She's a nice girl to family and friends.. they are still hoping she is alive.. The association with Natalee Holloway comes in mind, but they also know that's not realistic.. They won't go to Bonaire unless they have to.. They will be waiting by the phone..

In Holland in the old day's the "kadaverbak" were also huge and just down the road for the whole neighborhood .. YEARS ago.. Now they have to call when an animal is dead and then people come and take the animal away in the "kadaverbak' such as in the picture..

Bonaire is a transit port for drugs

Bonaire threatens more and more a transit of drugs in the Dutch Antilles to be said Jan van der Straaten, Police on Bonaire in the Antillean newspaper Amigoe.

According to Van der Straaten Bonaire is an alternate possibility to be for the import and export of drugs and he has enough evidence. Van der Straaten is currently in the Netherlands for a working visit. Van der Straaten wants the Coast Guard of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba will get a foothold on Bonaire. Now that is only the case in Aruba and St. Maarten. The Coast Guard is a collaboration between the Dutch Antilles, Aruba and the Netherlands and the fight against drugs is one of the main tasks of this organization. According to Van der Straaten, the control is not confined to the airport of Bonaire, but more towards supply and transit by sea.

Robbers arrested in Bonaire

On Bonaire ten arrests were made yesterday during a major police operation. The suspects would have been broken into apartments, hotels and homes, but also in cars to dive locations. The Antillean Minister of Economic Affairs Elvis Tjin-Asjoe was two weeks ago the alarm bell on Bonaire because the number of attacks on tourists had increased fairly.

The Antillean Minister Tjin-Asjoe themselves from Bonaire, worried about the robberies because of holiday tourism is the main source of income is on Bonaire.

Jan van der Straten has "served" two years on Bonaire .
Since 1 Aug 2008 the new chief Johan Schagen.

Bonaire will after the political changes become part of the BES-corps (Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba). This corps is still not and will be built from scratch.

Van Straten on Bonaire :

On Bonaire PVV'er Brinkman would have been arrested

Jan van der Straten of Bonaire would PVV 'er Chamber Hero Brinkman arrested as he nasty things about the Antilles on the island would have said.

Brinkman, according to Van der Straten not hampered by any knowledge of the Antilles and his gaze is therefore someone with a vision duct.
Everywhere are criminals and also in the Netherlands there is such a thing as official corruption.

And if his rulings on Bonaire would have done, then the Bonairiaanse police have made an attempt to keep him for insulting a people part.

Van der Straten believes that the Party for Freedom Bonairiaan know how the queen has in his heart. And that deep-seated, revealed during the state visit of Beatrix last year.[/code]

Sarge, you wanted a translation of this video, here's a quick one

They say that they live in a whirl, they think it's worse than it really is.
She's a nice and friendly girl has many friends.
They heard that she did her work very well, and was friendly with the people.
They hope they will find her, find her alive.
They don't know, even on Bonaire they do not know.
Nothing is known yet.
The association with Aruba became up, immediately, the Natalee case, but there's no cause for that yet.
We don't know what happened, nobody knows.
The longer it lasts, that's not good.
The grandparents did not go to Bonaire, her parents are there, they can do it, we talk to them, and if we need to go, we will.

Justice denies Bonaire blunders
By PETER DE KNEGT
BONAIRE - The main suspect in the kidnapping case of Marlies van der Kouw had still not at liberty to be.

Justice in 2002 geblunderd in strafeis in a rape case by the judge not to ask for an earlier suspended sentence of Ryan P. to a real prison. That the woman in 2002 by Ryan (27) was raped.

The prosecutor, Ernst Wesselius, denies the blunder and suggests in his strafeis indeed have to take into account the conditional sentence. Ryan was for the rape appeal eight years imprisonment. He came about nine months ago Friday.

,, If Ryan had been, Marlies was not kidnapped, murdered and disappeared,''said the victim is convinced that the fault of Ryan. The woman was, if the court ruled in February 2002, by P. Ryan raped in 2001. He had just three months because of another offense. For that past wrongdoing, according to his mother, he received two years imprisonment with 11 months unconditional and a two-year probationary period. That probation was only in November 2002 off.

Ernst Wesselius: "I have indeed taken into account Ryans previous suspended sentence. I've done thousands of things in my 30-year career, but this case can I still dream of day to day. It touched me deeply. I know a higher requirement, taking into account the seriousness of the facts, circumstances, the accused, the suffering that is caused with his probation.''

According to him is not to say whether Ryan had been as he had requested the punishment to a criminal unconditional, because never sure how a court judge. ,, Prisoners can also earn bonus points and as previously released. What that suggests is a sham Mrs security.''

The lawyer for Ryan P. in 2002, Aldebert Rooijer, argues that "the public prosecutor often forget a suspended sentence to be carried out." ,, But we are not there for that failure is due.''

Justitie Bonaire ontkent blunders

[glow=red,2,300]who is this Ernst Wesselius????????[/glow]

confidential documents on the internet  ::MonkeyWink::
Officer scoops on Limewire

We can obviously confidential documents show the symptoms of KLM, Bonaire on suspicions of corruption, drug problems, the spheres Eaters, the evaluation of the Flamingo Team (good guys, but not enough manpower). Yes, we have a lot, a lot of information from the Internet plempen LimeWire shared disk of Ernst Wesselius. The beads officer of the Antilles. But we're doing that is not nice. Let no point in a DNA test so to speak. Yet we would like a tip of the veil lights. Because if you Prosecutor, you sit at your pension and have little sense of computers, you should just buy your CDs in the store, instead of illegally everything within reach through peer to peer. As we already announced this afternoon, we again have a leaky prosecutor. But why so late at night? Simple: Not everything we aantroffen is intended for youthful look ore. Say a typical gevalletje of NSFW. In addition, we had to get comment on the other side of the pond, which is now a thorough investigation into the origin of the documents ...

So we found between the 448 strictly confidential documents filled with sensitive material on balls Eaters justice and money laundering, including a document in which the high Justice official describes his life, including his many-to-detail in erotic adventures.

Let's just quote from the diary of Ernst. To clean start: "We decided, however, without of course our parents to explain to just-via Brussels to Paris to elevators. For the first time we ervoeren the charm of the Cotes d'Azur, the Mediterranean climate, the Mediterranean girls, the Mediterranean food. We steel rolls at the bakery and tomatoes at the groentenman. Eventually we went back. Near the border with the Netherlands more than we were warmly welcomed by the Military Police, because there is now a tracing request was issued to us. We must never do so. And we have never done. "

What you should never do is as Prosecutor your documents on Limewire parts Ernst. Before you know, get you to look on the Internet. So much for the little finger, because you want to dirty boekies. Well, you get dirty boekies.

But again we quote: "Marja was a final walk, I stayed at the campsite, and soon hit the need, and I started to masturbate. And just at that moment, without anything that I had noticed, Marja came back and in the tent and "caught" me in some embarrassing position. Well, and what happened then: Marja said nothing, looked very much, came into the tent, was next to me, dressed out and began to masturbate. More or less simultaneously we were ready. From that moment the ice was broken, and a similar occurrence with some regularity again. It was actually pretty exciting, too. We talked about happy. Told each other something about our sexual desires, needs and fantasies. Once, it was already on the return journey, in South-West France, we "really" fucked with each other: we were the only weak smile and said after the end against each other: "No, this is really not to between us, we must never do. "And we have never done."

Yes, the story of Ernst reads pretty good and the road shows that a prosecutor is not concrete: "How do I solve this? Occasionally fantasize and masturbate. Sometimes, when I'm somewhere in the country was working secretly to a porn cinema, watching movies exciting and ejaculation, then I could be back against. "

Another one then, as encore: "In the spring of 1988 was the case in a rapid, and by the following: I had regularly to The Hague for meetings. I went there one day (nota bene on the advice of a nice fellow, really what you call a lord of state ...) to a "massage house". A euphemistically word for an opportunity where you actually were massaged, but ultimately it in a very special part of the body. And since I came Ineke against. Ineke was about my age, had a certain aura, something sympathetic about him, which I separate from the more sexually explicit acts, immediately felt at my ease. "

Sounds good, and that was probably too. Ernst decided only the lady of easy virtue to give his business card. Stupid stupid stupid. Thus we read: "Two days after my visit to Ineke had I arrived on the parquet, 's morning directly and urgently to the Prosecutor come. The tone was so compelling that I felt equal something very serious to the hand was. In the main prosecutor in his room happily under four-eyes-Ton but fell right in the door in the house: There was a long investigation of theft and receiving stolen to order cars, on a large scale. That day it was just close drawn: the police had over the whole country house searches and made arrests made. And one of those searches and arrests involved .. Indeed, Ineke, sister of one of the suspects in that case. When her arrest was in her handbag my business card was found. My sense of that time I will ever forget, it was if my whole world collapsed completely, preferably I was in a big hole in the ground disappeared for good. "That is Ernst dig, dig deep. But since they seem to experience the Antilles to have ...

============================

Uiteindelijk gingen we terug.

The website only a light tip of the veil on. There is an overview of issues the 'beads officer "under his guard. But the contents of those documents is not accessible. However, the website would provide insight into some erotic passages from the life of Wesselius through citations that would come from him.

Geenstijl.nl it says have access to the things Wesselius is involved but not to reveal to prevent themselves to be subject to investigation.

Wesselius said in a response that no secret documents on his computer. "They are summaries of lawsuits and subpoenas," he says. "Although not normally come into the open, is not about ongoing investigations that are now in danger may come. The documents also dating from January. "

That there are erotic passages of his hand on the Internet, he finds appalling. "I can not tell them how I'm broken," said the officer. "I have written my life, but they are not sex stories. It is for example on the misery I have seen in Rwanda when I was there for the United Nations was and why my marriage is lost. I have tried to identify why some things fail. For myself. Not for the whole world. This is very painful, but in terms of my work I can see no harm in. "

Geenstijl.nl According to the Antilles now started to research how the information could be. Press Officer Prosecutor L. Vicento of the public prosecutor in Willemstad does not have a comment. "We have consultations Friday in the prosecution and determine what our reaction will be," says Vicento.

Sadly, there is no good new news but a search of the house of suspect was done and new dogs were brought in by Dutch investigators.
There is an article out of kralendijk bonaire but I cannot link it.
