I think that Kay once said that the newest member info doesn't mean that they are actually members but merely have applied. I don't think that they will really get in.

I suggested recently that a friend register and start posting at RU.
They were never registered after they applied.
Yet there is a continual listing of new members who don't ever seem to contribute posts.

Appy, if you're joking, don't read further but as I mentioned before, the new members listed haven't been activated yet. Kay does the activating when her time permits. There are many that she has to go through and she weeds out the spam which is why it appears that these posters never contribute.
