Would you believe it Pax ... I am actually going to the GAME! I cannot believe it myself and am very excited. I expect win or lose (and I hope for sure the Colts win) it will be a memory of a lifetime.

Hey, that's fantastic billybob. I've been to all sorts of memorable games including championships but never been to a Super Bowl. Yes, that will be the thrill of a lifetime. A few years back I had the pleasure of taking my dad to a couple of World Series games in St. Louis. He was generous enough to take me many games when I was younger. So it meant a lot to both of us. It's a memory I will always cherish. Have a wonderful time. Report as much as possible here if you can. Have fun in Miami!

Here's my prediction. First half. The Saints offense rolls along on great passing by Drew Brees and awesome runs by Reggie Bush. Manning and the Colts respond with tactical efficiency. Receivers Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark make big plays. Joseph Addai puts up solid runs. Second half. The defenses find their rhythm and the game tightens up a bit. More runs. Maybe some field goals. With the two best quarterbacks on the planet, both teams go to what they do best. Pass. The Saints receivers show their size and speed. Saints receiver Marques Colston makes some brilliant catches. Someone on the Saints defense like Darren Sharper or Jeremy Shockey or Will Smith makes a key play. Maybe knocks a ball loose or gets an interception. The Saints take advantage of it. They find another way to score. Their special teams also make a big play. New Orleans Saints.

I hope you are wrong, but I will try to enjoy the experience no matter who wins. I get to see great football, the Who and Carrie Underwood and that is pretty good too.
Goooooooooooo Colts!!

By the way I should have said earlier, I respect both teams immensely. May they both play great!

OMG! That was downright painful. I was almost embarrassed for them.

I guess it's all in the ear of the listener. I thought The Who kicked ass! With only about ten minutes to work with, they did a great job!
Unfortunately, I have to say that Carrie Underwood's attempt at the National Anthem was one of the worst I have ever heard this side of Roseanne Barr.
Great game, though. My husband has a lot of family in Louisiana so we were really pleased in our household. Obviously, the onside kick to start the second half was huge but I also thought is was really important that the Saints got a field goal at the end of the first half after going for it on 4th down and getting stopped on the goal line just seconds earlier.

Oh it was a great game indeed! I am really happy for the Saints....though I sorta wanted Colts to win as I love Peyton Manning, and I always remember Tony Dungy (one of my heroes) used to be their coach. But, in the end, I was just overjoyed for the Saints.
In my opinion, no half-time show will ever come close to the great one Prince did a few years ago. That was so outstanding, absolutely over the top terrific.

Yeah, the Prince show a few years ago was awesome! Yesterday the performers had difficulty with their sound monitors. Queen Latifah and Roger Daltrey both fiddled with the ones in their ear. I think they were getting noisy feedback. I liked Carrie Underwood's national anthem even though she missed the last note. It takes a lot to appear on such a big stage. I like when they perform live even if it doesn't turn out perfect.

Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints! What a great game. I admire the Colts class and dignity. They were very honorable in defeat. Five years ago New Orleans was under water. Many wondered if it could survive. Or even whether it was worth saving. The Saints played a season without a home. Then the NFL committed itself to the city and helped repair the stadium. Coach Sean Layton arrived. He and his family saw this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to be involved with something way beyond football. Drew Brees visited and he and his wife decided the same. To a man, every player on the team speaks of their love for the people of the city. Their wives and families are very involved as well. The team and the city lean on each other. And they both came roaring back! New Orleans was planning parades for the team even if the Saints lost. Now it's a party on Bourbon Street all the way to Mardi Gras!

Hey billybob. I hope you had a wonderful time at the game. I know it must be disappointing. The Colts played admirably though. They can hold their heads high. They showed true sportsmanship by congratulating the Saints team. Something that struck me yesterday - Colts and Saints fans were getting along well in the stands. That really speaks to the quality of their fans.

Just talked with my mom (the professional flutist) on the phone. She said the strong wind in Miami also affected the sound monitors in the singers ears. She mentioned there is sound delay in an outdoor stadium. You're hearing your last note on 'freeeeee' when your trying to hit the right note on 'braaaaave' She loved Carrie Underwood too, even though 'brave' came out sharp, lol.
