To SavannahStar From Lola

Dear Savannah,
Thank you for helping my nanny not be afraid of me. She loves it when I come to visit and says she'll take pictures of me in the snow tomorrow Laughing I love it here in WV and am glad nan does not mind when I come to visit. She always let me around her other granddaughters for a little while. They always pet me and give me hugs I like hugs Very Happy
I just wanted to thank you for 'talking' to my nan about pitbulls. I'm glad this family gave me a chance Very Happy
Friends forever, Lola
For you, SS~~Just click on the pic

WVG - Lola is adorable! I like the way she crosses her eyes when she's having her head scratched. Laughing Fit 1

Aw wvgirl, what a wonderful post!! You know I love seeing pics of Lola, and there are some news ones on there for me! She is such a gorgeous girl!

Hey if I did one little thing to encourage the acceptance of that sweetheart, I'm happy as a lark. I try to do all I can possibly do to educate people about what pitbulls are really like.

May she have a long and happy and wonderful life with your family!

Here's Sasha saying hello to Lola! Woof woof!

Sasha is a beauty. I cleaned up the slideshow and added some more that Sara wanted on there. Thanks for being a friend to all animals, SS. Flowers for you

Lovable Lola is Lovely. I just want to hug her!
It is nice that SS encouraged this adoption. Savannah Star is so genuine with her affection for all fur babies. The world needs more peole like you both WVgirl & SS. Mocha sends a nose rub to both Lola & Sasha.

Those new pics are outstanding! She really is a beautiful dog. Makes me want another dog. I haven't had a pet since I had to put my mini dashaund to sleep over 10 years ago.

Actually, Sara had already rescued Lola from an abusive home. But after Savannah know that, she has become my 'go to' source for all things pitbull. Tim and I don't have any pets. My allergies are just too bad for an inside animal and Tim just would not be able to handle that anyway, lol. He's not a dog guy, but he enjoys Lola's visits. Which makes it so much easier when she is here, because she has run of the house. But, she is so well behaved and really just wants to be a lap dog most of the time. She is still a puppy and is always well supervised when the little kids are around.

After Angie 'graduates' from this life, I'll get another dog. It's great having a pal. We just got back from a hike in the mountains with two other people and dog friends. It was a blast. She likes to wade in the cold water and 'take a mud bath spa treatment.' Very Happy

Everyone told me to get another puppy after Leather died. But I couldn't do it, this may sound strange to some, but I went into deep mourning after her death. I couldn't bare to lose another one. She was 15 when she passed. I'm thinking about it now that I'm eligible for senior citizens meals at the all you can eat buffets. Very Happy

It doesn't sound strange at all. I can understand that feeling and know a few people who have done the same. One woman comes to our dog park and isn't ready to get another one yet, but walks and hangs out with us. LOL, you can bring home 'doggie bags' this time around too! Are you considering any type of dog yet?

Pax, I grew up with "dogs from a good neighborhood". My mother loved dogs (we are talking about during the fifties - no pedigreed). Leather was the first and only pedigreed animal I ever had. I'm now just looking for a good dog - mutt or pedigreed - but a dog that can become a family member.

Why is this font so big????

Not strange at all, I'm still mourning for my wonderful kitty Ace. I lost him on November 3rd and I'm far from ready for another furbaby.

Lola is beautiful! Those ears are really "expressive," they look a little different in each picture. Enjoy her!
