Amber Alert issued for 4 missing children in Boston
BOSTON -- The Massachusetts State Police and the Lynn Police Department have issued an Amber Alert for four abducted children.
They were last seen at about 1 a.m. Wednesday near 99 ½ High Rock St. in Lynn.
The four children, ranging in age from 11 months to 3 years, were abducted with their mother from a homicide scene and are believed to be in danger, state police said.
The children, who are all black, are identified as Ryan Petitbois, 3, Lyndsey Petitbois, 2; Lauren Petitbois, 1; and Roddick Petitbois, 11 months.
They are believed to be with Rodlyn Petitbois, 25, and Louna Eveillard, 26, both black.
The couple and children may be traveling in a white 1992 Buick Roadmaster with Massachusetts license plate 91EW79.
Rodlyn Petitbois is described as a black man with black hair worn in cornrows or dreadlocks. When he was last seen, he had a beard.
Eveillard is described as a black female with a slender build and short hair. She speaks broken English and is of Haitian descent. She also is believed to have a significant fresh injury to one of her hands and may be in need of medical attention or wearing a bandage around one of her hands, police said.
Rodlyn Petitbois is wanted for questioning in connection with the homicide of a woman that occurred on High Rock Street, police said.
Police said they were called to the High Rock Street address at 1:06 a.m. Wednesday and found a female suffering from stab wounds in a second-floor apartment, said Steve O'Connell, of the Essex County Districk Attorney's office. She was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Massachusetts State Police urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of the couple or children to call 911 immediately. Rodlyn Petitbois is potentially armed and is considered dangerous, police said.
The public should not to approach Rodlyn Petitbois, instead they should call police immediately with his location, officials said.
