If Natalee ever contacted her family, would they tell?
I am wondering about this; if Natalee is alive, there is a chance she might maybe just once have contacted Matt, to tell him she was ok without telling her whereabouts.
But if that had happened, would the family ever tell, or could they do so, after all that happened?
Not so long ago Beth was suddenly referring to Natalee in the present tense; "she is missing so much, when I look at what Natalee is missing and will be missing for the rest of her life" etc.
Somehow it made me wonder if maybe at that time or earlier Beth might have been notified of a short and one time only contact between Natalee and for example Matt.
If such took place, would the family ever tell?

If Natalee is alive, the family has known for some time now. They have used her disappearance for profit. But, just for argument's sake, suppose she is alive and recently contacted Matt or somebody. Ain't no way Beth would kill the goose that laid the golden egg. Beside that, Beth would have a hard time accepting her daughter back into the fold after she might have run away and caused all this trouble for her mother's reputation. JMHO

After stuff I've read last night and today about the "huge" financial empire founded upon the Disappearance of Natalee - not only do I not believe that they would never tell anyone, now I seriously wonder if Natalee is safe, in light of all the many thousands of dollars her family has made.
I'm simply floored, I had no idea how much stuff they were actually selling, it's simply sick.
I've simply not seen this stuff before, it's so crass, it's unbelievable --- and now, although I have NO proof, I surmise that much of the proceeds from the sale of the Natalee-JUNK is going to pay off webmasters, to make sure their forums contain only BHT-approved comments.
I'm ashamed of America's investigative journalists, they are missing a huge scandalous nasty story -- and meantime the corporate media is pimping the grief of The ONE Mother in the Entire Universe.
YOU --- your grief, it is NOTHING, because it has nothing to do with the MORE IMPORTANT GRIEF of the mother of Natalee.
WHo the hell do these people think they are, having the gall to tell STRANGERS, who also have murdered and/or missing children & relatives OR -both- ... how dare they deign to order virtual strangers to not comment that BHT has made an A$$ of herself on TV, again & again & again.
Obviously, they TOO are making money off the disappearance of Natalee.

No, these cheeeeesy people selling Natalee THONGS won't tell anyone if she calls -- but what's worse, wouldn't they stand to lose alot of money if she shows up somewhere?
I hope she avoids them, and simply contacts Joe, and lets him tell Matt that she's okay and not to worry.

for the familys own peace of mind i do hope a phone call will someday be made . if that is from natalee even better! if the call is made and natalee is alive she would probably say --hey mom --send money!! in all seriousness ---i do not think nat would call beth --maybe greta first or fbi . it is not that i think nat hates beth but i feel she would be terrified to make that call for fear of her own safety --a ransom on her once someone discovered she alive and a circus---! i do not know if nat would trust anyone at this point --and if she was kidnapped or sold ect and ever got to make one sneaked call i hope it is to someone who can protect her --maybe witness protection program --beth would upset the chain of events and the call would become a danger situation perhaps -- who would nat trust? not many i would think . her dad maybe before beth at this point in time.jmo

They never screamed that Imette was a non-drinking virgin, they never blamed New York, they never said the cops were incompetent...and they endowed a scholarship in Imette's name at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where Imette had been a student.

Joe Tacopina is representing the St. Guillen family in a four million dollar law suit against New York because the parole board failed to do their job and did not adequately supervise the ex-con who is accused of murdering Imette, and who was working illegally as a bouncer. The bar owners, the powerful Dorrian family, is also being sued. They are hoping to change the laws and also gain more funding for the parole board so the laws can be properly enforced. Joe and the St. Guillien's were recently on with Dan Abrams. The St. Guillien's are extremely dignified and it's a heart breaking case.

Well, coming from a believer that Natalee is alive and ran away, it is my opinion that Natalee has contacted her family quite some time ago. I also believe the letter is authentic.
The family has dug themselves into such a lieing mess, to the point that there are no shovels left on this planet to continue with the shoveling! Beth and Dave are in so deep now that I believe they have literally convinced themselves that their lies are now the truth. So my answer is, no, they will never tell because they 'can't' ever tell now. I wouldn't be surprised if they have threatened Natalee with coming out. Why else would a mother declare - to the world - that her daughter is dead with zero evidence and to do this so early in the case? I believe this was a message to Natalee!
I also believe Natalee was, and maybe still is, in contact with the FBI. I cannot see the Caribbean and US FBI investing all of their resources this past year and still to this day unless there is some authenticity to her whereabouts. I think that Beth and all who back(ed) her did not realize the extent of FBI involvement these past months. But I do believe that many people have caught on - hence the obvious impression that Beth has been kicked out of Mountainbrook by its citizens and the Fab 7.

It seems that many of the other folks in Mountain Brook were one hundred percent behind Beth's bullshit when it appeared to be popular. Then, when it didn't seem popular any more, they dropped her like a lead balloon. To me, it's kind of like someone yelling "Let's burn witches!" And a bunch of other people screaming, "Yeah!
