Comeback gives 49ers NFC title


... and they did it with the biggest championship-game comeback in NFC history.

The San Francisco 49ers defense made sure that Matt Ryan would not author another late game-winning drive. With just more than a minute remaining, the 49ers broke up a fourth down pass attempt from Ryan to Roddy White to end the Falcons' bid for a go-ahead score.

Five plays later, they were headed to the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl weekend is finally here. On Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers
will face the Baltimore Ravens in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII.











East versus west. Harbaugh versus Harbaugh. Expansion franchise against one of the greatest NFL dynasties.
All together, Super Bowl XLVII is teeing up to be quite the story. But, there are other important things to note
about the big game that also deserve some attention. Like, for example, what the players on both teams will be
wearing. Thankfully, Nike tipped their cards a little bit early ahead of the game sharing preview images of
what the uniforms and cleats will look like. As an away AFC team, the Ravens will be wearing white with black
pants (coincidentally what they wore when they beat the Giants in Super Bowl XXXV), while the 49ers will be
in their iconic red and gold. Interestingly, all three times the 49ers wore this combination, they won the Super Bowl.
Both sides will, of course, be also wearing the Super Bowl patch as well as a patch commemorating Art Modell.
By the end of the game, these jerseys won’t be looking this nice and one superstition will be broken, along with
a lot of hearts.

One of the Best Super Bowls in memory - both teams made it a great one and according to Nielsen, the most watched TV event in history.

Alicia Keyes Anthem, Beyonce's halftime show with the Destiny's Child reunion and the Sandy Hook school children singing with Jennifer Hudson.....it was really a great show.

We should have Bay city Super Bowlers every year.
