lol...all rightyyyyy then. Sounds like you've thought of it and discounted it all on your own. Might want to let ALE know they can stop now because you KNOW that Joran is innocent. Bet they'd appreciate the input.

I would believe they are still looking for that evidence too. After all, Joran has been prime suspect for 4 years now and there has been no big news coming as some jubilantly claimed months ago that he will be cleared. It was slated for last September I believe when 'in the know' posters were hinting loudly here. I'm still waiting.

I doubt they are still looking for evidence

It would have been dead in the first month if that was true.

It was dead in the first month. It was only Dutch/Aruban law that kept it going. In the USA, Joran would have spent no more than 48 hours in detention.

I wouldn't say it would have been dead in the first month??? I agree Joran wouldn't have spent more than 48 hours in detention...if that with the amount of evidence or lack of evidence. But I sure don't agree it would have been dead??? Ever heard of a cold case? A lot of them are being solved.

Well they did say there would be an investigation into the investigation of the first 10 days, not?
They can say anything for appeasements sake. Really too bad the boys and others had to do so much lying and they really only shot themselves in the foot.

i think they are stalling. waiting for another katrina to quietly shut it down. cops and prosecutors never like to admit abject failure. they were looking in the wrong place from the beginning imo. this traceless body dumping scenario just does not cut it with me no matter what joran said to peterick before he told greta something else. .

That's silly. Wishing for a Katrina could backfire.
This is one case that criminals and would be criminals have likely learned from in a negative way.

Surely you don't really believe that iquitos? Or maybe I should say hopefully you don't. If its possible that ALE would keep Joran as a suspect all this time with no evidence simply to appease Beth...then I really DO question them.

I don't believe for a second that's what's going on.

Only the first 10 days?
Why only the first 10 days?

And its too bad Beth and her posse, "and others had to do so much lying and they really only shot themselves in the foot."

I think they are waiting for the right moment. Maybe just before or just after Mos leaves? Is he gone yet? Yes, I think they are hypersensitive to media coverage of her reaction and act accordingly. I really don't think they have a case. I don't think they ever did.

Not.

I don't recall ever hearing that there was going to be an investigation of just the first ten days. I thought the entire investigation was going to be reviewed.

How much lying did Joran do? Deepak? Satish?

1) I do not remember any promise of an investigation of the first 10 days. In any case I doubt any real fault would be found. The ALE performed fairly well, all things considered.

2) I doubt they care about appeasement at this point

3) It is unrealistic to expect the accused to confess and solve the case. There must be evidence.
