What is the effect of the movie?

It's been a week or 2, has there been any lasting effect?

Nope.

It hasn't gotten the case any closer to a solution.

The sober, virgin, drug free Natalee was replaced with reality. That's about it.

You know of any evidence that she's alive?

I agree...but was it ever meant to? I thought this was just a movie based on what Beth went through to find Natalee?? If a Lifetime Movie could help solve a crime...that would just be wrong...least I think so.

I read those posts. Interesting indeed. Especially since they are mostly negative about the movie AND the 'family investigation'.

The movie, Beth's POS book and her constant appearances are conflicting reports of what Beth went through to find Natalee.

Well thats an opinion I guess...but its not what we were discussing. We were discussing what has changed since the movie was aired and how it hadn't solved the case.

No it is not an "opinion".
It is a fact that Beth contradicts herself in every single venue that she has used. That movie is just another venue for her contradictions (lies).

As Beth Reynolds Holloway Twitty Holloway said herself:

"I am tired of guessing!"

and from the movie:
When asked by Jug, HOW she knows for sure if (insert current accusation) she replies:

"I DON'T!"

Why did Beth dis Greta/FOXNews? Especially after they made millions for her.

That was interesting.

After Rita Cosby got caught blatantly doing what all Talking Heads on FoxNews are known for doing, Fox turned down the volume of 'accusations presented as facts'. That pretty much left Beth and her 'accusations presented as facts' out in the cold. And we all know what happens to people when they don't abide by Beth's wishes... "I tell you, Brian, they are going to regret ever messing with me."

Beth did that very same thing to anyone and everyone that refused to participate in her circus act/scheme/scam. She simply tries to discredit them and "make their life a living hell."

Because surely Lifetime let her have total control on this project.

What does that mean?
Explain, please.

The movie has had no effect whatsoever on the case other than creating the same old moot talking points that have been debated, discussed, argued about etc etc for nearly 4 years now.
