JVM-ISSUES

Seismic developments in the Casey Anthony case! Did coroners make a mistake in little Caylee’s initial autopsy? Does the defense now have the evidence they need to blow the case wide open? TONIGHT: You will not believe what one expert is saying!

On Jane

Defense expert states that when he did his follow-up autopsy he found sediment (mud) on the left interior portion of Caylee’s skull. The claim is that Dr. Garavaglia missed this because she didn’t open the skull (saw the back of the skull open during the autopsy).

There is also a statement made that Dr. Spitz will be prepared to testify that the “mud” deposit he observed on the left interior portion of Caylee’s skull was indicative of the skull lying on its left side not in an “upright" or straightforward position as has been claimed by investigators, as well as the experts for the.

Dr. G was contacted for her reactions, but has not yet made a statement.

Great article and makes perfect sense if little Caylee's body was exposed in those kind of eliminates for all those months of course it's not going to be exactly how it was when it was disposed of, include the exposure as well, even the searchers including Tim Miller have given statements that in those conditions the body wouldn't be easily found.

Just more spins...my opinion

They have been buddies for awhile I heard, but I am not sure how true that is, if true that would explain why she keeps putting up with Baez's b.s.

Well I was just making sure some people are sensitive when it comes to certain things, I wasn't trying to beat around any bush, but being careful with what I say that's all.

After reading what bbeba103 posted what was said on JVM last night, I spent some time trying to find where it was said "......in an “upright" or straightforward position as has been claimed by investigators, as well as the experts for the............"

I did find mention of when the investigators got to the scene (after Kronk's last call) it was noted by one of the investigators the skull was in an upright position. However, I do not understand what the defense or their expert thinks is so significant about this. I think the autopsy report mentioned sandy sediment in the skull, also, and something about rinsing/washing it out. What difference does it make if it was on it's side or upright?

It appears that defense expert Dr Spitz will testify at trial that Dr G cannot legally conclude that Caylee's death came at the hand of another human being.

Dr G concluded that Caylee's death was the result of homicide because she was duct taped across her face, placed in several bags, and left beside the road in a swampy area. Means of the homicide is not known, but homicide appears to be the most likely cause.

I'm not afraid that Spitz' 'reasoning' will be convicing to a jury that is trying to determine if Caylee was murdered before she was duct-taped, put inside dual garbage bags which were put inside a laundry bag, then dropped into a roadside swamp less than a mile from her home.

Since Casey was last to be with Caylee before she disappeared, and no claimed-nanny has ever been found or even evidence found of her existence, it seems obvious that Caylee did not die of her own accord, duct-tape her own face, put herself into 3 separate bags, and dispose of herself a short distance from her's and Casey's home.

Dr Spitz isn't going to be well-received by the jury for his defense opinion IMO.
