I don't recall a suit being filed - so, that would make it just a rumor.

From the the article link - it appears that Bram was offering a suggestion to what he thought Beth should do and why. He also doesn't seem to like the way Aruba handled the case.

There was no suit. Beth asked him to look into the possibility. He was positive at first but obviously it was not that easy to sue Joran for "shock-damage".

IMO Peter R de Vries is the one who caused the "shocking".

Bram didn't speak about the handeling of the case.

Right. I watched the broadcast myself.

So, There was no suit and no case. So it was just rumor that Bram was Beth's lawyer - it may have been nothing more but a question posed on a talk show.

except it wasn't according to beth and Bram (and Peetje and Patrikje) and Pau and Witteman. It was stated as fact that they were considering a suit. A fact is not a rumor.

There was no suit . It was mentioned on a talk show. For all anyone knows that is the only time Beth and Bram met and any "consideration" was given to it.

"documented" - so is this post I am typing. Big deal. It was mentioned on a talk show - nothing came of it. Why make it into some sort of "news" -
Anita can practically get lap dances from reporters on the island who claim they only want the truth....and yet. you take issue with this little congrontation on TV.

Why do you think it was shown.

What was the point of the article you posted that brought Bram into the discussion? You didn't want to talk about him?

Beth also dated John Ramsey for a while. Nothing came of it. So had to be a rumor. Right.

Who is taking issues here? You are the one that's obsessed with Joran and his mother, not I.

Judge bias in the Netherlands was the point. I don't care who you talk about - doesn 't mean I have to agree with how it is relayed. Making mountains out of molehills nit picking words is part of what keeps this discussion flowing.

Speaking of renewed directions I wonder what the dynamic was like between Paulus and Anita. It was reported she was away when Natalee disappeared but I wonder how much information, if anything, Paulus and Joran truly shared with Anita when she returned. What she knows and what she's shared can be quite different. Judging by Anita's steadfastness to believe Joran was still innocent in regards to Natalee but admission he could have "harmed" Stephany. I can't help but think they kept Anita in the dark as well. Maybe Beth should try to have a sit down with her.

Anita is an intelligent woman. I think that Anita saw the situation more clearly and more realistically than Paul but I can likewise believe that neither would have made any admissions to her of guilt if that was the case. No reason to drag her into the loop.

She's an intelligent woman, who like many mothers, is protective of her children. It's not uncommon for mothers to hold onto information although she was somewhat informative in regards to Joran having received mental health treatment(s) in the past. Maybe she truly does believe Joran is completely innocent in regards to Natalee's disappearance or maybe she simply doesn't want to believe it. TBH, I wonder if the death of Stephany has changed her line of thinking on the matter. If Joran is completely innocent and without guilt then why did he use Natalee as an excuse to kill Stephany?

All I'm suggesting is that maybe some of the people involved or around at the beginning should be reevaluated now that the dust has settled. Jan, Anita, Valentin, Dompig, 2K, Steve Croes, FEB and Karin would be a good place to start. I'd imagine at least one of these folks would offer a differing view than originally provided.
