Grand Mal Seizure: Caylee drowning

Postby Heli » Thu Sep 08, 2011 7:17 am

Apparently, C&G told Dr. Phil that Casey had/may have had a grand mal seizure that resulted in Caylee drowning in the pool.

These two enablers just never quit. Stop making excuses for your seriously psychopathic offspring already!!!!

1. If Casey had grand mal seizures she would/should have been on anti-seizure medication.

2. If Casey had diagnosed grand mal seizures that were not controlled by medication she would not have been licensed to drive by the State of Florida.

3. Did she have any grand mal seizures in jail?

4. Was such a seizure disorder disclosed to DOC during her intake interviews?

If Casey has epilepsy or other seizure disorder it would have been presented in her defence at trial as supporting evidence of the accidental drowning. It wasn't and I reject this lame attempt by C&G to yet again excuse any and all criminal conduct by Casey.

Media ... STOP giving these people a forum to continue lying on their daughter's behalf. STOP giving them the attention and perks they so desperately crave. Let them talk to the hand.

Is the pool still in the Anthony backyard being used on a regular basis by C&G?

If so, I'd say they're either extremely callous and attached to their "pleasures" OR more likely in my mind, they absolutely know Caylee didn't drown in that pool and their enjoyment of it is not marred by that imagery.

I do not believe, for a nano-second, Casey has grand mal seizures.

My mother had them on occasion, even with daily medication, and she never lied b/c of them, killed anyone b/c of them, was responsible for anyone's death b/c of them, or was stealing from anyone b/c of them.

I just have one slight correction  . It's not an 'OR' -They are extremely callous AND they know Caylee didn't drown in the pool.

OMG - how disgusting these people are! They will sink to the lowest depths to try to get sympathy and covering for their killer daughter. I don't believe anything that any of them say.

Is Casey Anthony prone to seizures?
Cindy sheds light in upcoming Dr. Phil Show

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Casey Anthony may have suffered from a medical condition that contributed to the death of her daughter, according to her parents, in an excerpt of a "Dr. Phil" interview reported Wednesday.

The episode featuring George and Cindy Anthony, the grandparents of tragic toddler Caylee, will be aired Monday and a FOX News Channel source said that in it they claim Casey may have suffered a gran mal seizure while her daughter was dying.

Gran (or grand) mal seizures -- also known as tonic-clonic seizures -- involve a loss of consciousness and violent muscle contractions. They can be caused by other health problems, such as low blood pressure or a stroke, but most often are caused by epilepsy.

During the taped appearance, Cindy Anthony apparently told the show's host, psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw, that her daughter's former fiance Jesse Grund had told police during a 2008 interview that he had called 911 after Casey suffered such a seizure in 2005.

According to the previously reliable source who spoke to FOX, Casey later suffered at least two additional seizures -- one while home on bond in 2008 and another while incarcerated between 2008 and 2011.

According to the source, Cindy Anthony pointed to the seizures as evidence Casey had "a mental health condition" that may have incapacitated her while Caylee was allegedly drowning "in the swimming pool incident," and further suggests that the seizures may be symptomatic of a condition that at times makes it difficult "to sort fact from fiction," or, as the source said, "maybe it is why she can't tell the truth."

For her part, Casey is said by the source to be "deeply upset that her parents continue to seek the spotlight," and that, "Casey just wants her mom to be her mom."

Dr. Phil said the interview was granted in exchange for a donation to Caylee's Fund, a charity run by the couple. The psychologist said the organization is "intending to focus on promoting processes to educate the public about, and advocate for, grandparents' rights."

Casey, 25, was acquitted July 5 of murdering her two-year-old daughter but found guilty of lying to police during the investigation into Caylee's death. Caylee's remains were discovered in December 2008 in a wooded area almost five months after she was reported missing by Cindy Anthony.

The Dr. Phil interview with George and Cindy Anthony airs Monday, September 12, at 3 p.m. on FOX 35.

IF Casey had a seizure while in jail, you better believe the media would have been all over that at the time. This is just more utter BS from the Anthonys.

Gee, I always thought seizures were a neurological condition not a mental health condition. Guess my mother's doctors were wrong, they should have consulted with the nurse of decomp  .

'Casey had seizures that made it difficult to tell right from wrong': Cindy Anthony claims her daughter had attack as Caylee died

Cindy Anthony will reveal to Dr Phil that her daughter Casey suffers from seizures that make it difficult to tell fact from fiction, it has been reported.

In an exclusive interview on Monday, the parents of the 25-year-old will apparently reveal that they believe she may have had a grand mal seizure while her daughter was dying.

George and Cindy Anthony will tell the television psychologist that the seizures are evidence that Casey had a 'mental health condition' that may have incapacitated her while Caylee was allegedly drowning, according to a Fox News source.

Grand mal seizures can involve violent muscle contractions and loss of consciousness. They can be caused by health problems including low blood sugar levels and epilepsy.

In the pre-recorded interview, Mrs Anthony will reportedly claim that Casey's ex-fiancé Jesse Grund had to call 911 after she suffered a seizure in 2005.

The Florida mother then apparently suffered two further seizures once when she was on bond in 2008 and again while she was in prison.

According to a Fox News source, Cindy Anthony will claim that the seizures may be symptomatic of a condition that makes it difficult at times 'to sort fact from fiction'.

Casey Anthony was released from jail on July 7 after she was controversially cleared of killing her two-year-old daughter Caylee.

But she was convicted of four counts of lying to investigators.

After Caylee Anthony was reported missing in 2008, Anthony told police that her daughter had been taken by a nanny, who was later shown to be fictitious.

On the first day of her trial for murder, Anthony's lawyers claimed that the toddler had drowned in the pool in an accident at the home of George and Cindy Anthony.

George and Cindy Anthony will give their first interview since the verdict in the trial of their daughter to Dr Phil on Monday.

In a promotional clip for the interview, George and Cindy Anthony are not heard speaking, but a series of clips showing the television host asking questions.

'America's never heard of this explanation before. Why have you sat on this information?' Dr Phil is shown asking.

He goes on, 'You know the truth don't you?'

The Anthonys have only had limited contact with their daughter since her release from prison. It is not thought that they have met in person.

Casey Anthony is currently serving one year's probation in Florida for a cheque fraud case unrelated to her murder trial.

The National Enquirer reported yesterday that Anthony plans to move to a secluded beach villa in Mexico after her probation.

It was reported that the house is owned by a California man who she has had a romance with since her release from jail.

The man, who allegedly started contact with Anthony via flirty letters while she was in prison, has apparently already given her $200,000 to help her with her new life.

A source told the magazine that Anthony eventually hopes to become a Mexican citizen.

How pathetic can these people get? As if this would not have been revealed during the trial! These people are delusional and Dr Phil is a bigger joke than I thought, and that is beyond belief!

This family is so repulsive it is difficult to comprehend the depths to which they will go to lie their way out of any responsibility for wrong doing on the part of their daughter or themselves. Cindy Anthony is disgusting in her attempts to foist on the public such absurd story telling. The very best thing all of us can do is refuse to watch any appearance these reprobates make. Let them and the media know that we are not fooled by their nonsensical lies and that we won't support any media who continue to host them while they make $ off their murdered grandchild.

This is getting crazier and crazier.
Does Cindy really believe the public will accept this nonsense?

My sister in law has seizures, and she can not drive, because a seizure can happen at anytime.
IF casey has seizures she would be on medication.

So now they're spinning the story that casey had seizures and because of that reason she can not tell the difference between telling the truth and lying.
Then I suppose casey did not know she was at blockbuster with tony the same night she had that seizure and Caylee died.

Right.

This is beyond absurd.

Casey has a seizure while Caylee drowned.

And then what happened?

After a grand mal seizure the person is always extremely weak and feels somewhat disoriented for many hours afterward.

Casey's demeanour and stamina displayed on the video at Blockbuster is hardly that of a person who suffered a seizure a mere few hours previous.

These two have got to be the most seriously mentally ill of the whole family if they think they can appear on TV with a straight face and tell those ridiculous lies. THEY NEED TO BE TOLD BLUNTLY AND REPEATEDLY ... one letter from each of us to their residence mailbox might do it ... :P

Did anyone really expect anything else? They are still drinking the koolaid. Such crap. I want to see the jail medical history that shows this. Of course we know that will never be shown since it doesn't exist and Cindy can say that HIPAA(sp?) rules don't allow it.

She has an excuse for everything. This just shows how badly she wants Casey back in her life.

The two of them deserve each other.

If George sits there and agrees with this, I hope Casey moves back in and kills both of them.

I have no intention of watching, but I will bet you that your question is never asked or answered. They will never admit that Casey dumped Caylee's body in the woods. I still can't believe Baez never explained how Caylee got there and those idiot jurors obviously never asked themselves that either.

The A's are already hated, no one believes them anymore.
After this "show" they will be hated even more.

Why do they even bother?

Oh wait, "Dr. phil" donated money........
Just pathetic.

This jury did not want to deliberate, they wanted out of there.
They did not even take the notes, they took during the trial, with them when they went into deliberations.

Baez did not have to explain anything, he was even vague when this drowning happened, sometime in the morning, sometime in the afternoon, he did not want to be pinned on that little detail.
We all know it was a bunch of lies, lies casey told him and he believed her....(sure)
Or it was Mason how come up with the ridiculous story, he knew the nanny story would never fly with a jury, so they had to come up with a new story.

Here's an interview Mason gave, full of lies.

Don't kid yourself they came up with this nonsense to make a quick buck. And i'm sure they made quite a few. These are the lowest of the low that society has to offer. I'm not sure if its worse to be a murderer or to make excuses for one.

It is apparent the grandparents don't believe she killed Caylee so why the need for a fund for grandparents rights anyway? Not sure what the meaning is behind that.

All that wiping of the hands George did in court as a gesture that he was through with her was obviously just an act.

I heard on the radio the other day that Casey was planning to move to Mexico w/ a penpal she made in prison. He lives in California and they were gonna live in his house in Mexico because she knows she can never live safely in the states. She will have to wait til her probation is over. I haven't seen anything else to this effect anywhere.

The length of the seizure, the age of the person and other health issues all factor into on each person's "recovery" time.

Not that I necessarily believe that Casey had a seizure while Caylee drowned but having a seizure doesn't mean that she had to be wandering around in a zombie state or laying in bed for the rest of the day.
