Police Search for Missing Teen

Meriden police are looking for a missing teen.

Liann Hall, 14, was last seen around 10:30 p.m. on Monday at home, where she lives with her foster mother and other family members, police said.

Liann might need medication, police said, and there is concern about her mental well-being.

State Police and police dogs searched the downtown area after someone reported a possible sighting of the teen. Police said reported sightings could not be confirmed.

Liann is approximately 5 feet, 5, weighs 125 pounds and has straight brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing blue flannel pajama pants and black “Ugg”-style boots. She might also be wearing a black jacket with the words “Apple Bottom Jeans” on it.

Search continues for missing Meriden teen

Meriden, Conn. (WTNH) - Police in Meriden are still searching for a 14-year-old runaway girl.

LiAnn Hall was last seen at 10:30 p.m. on December 19 at her home at 90 Green Road, where she lives with her foster mother and other family members.

LiAnn is a 14 year old white female. She's about 5'5" and weighs 125 pounds. She has straight brown hair with hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing blue flannel pajama pants and black "Ugg" style boots. She may also be wearing a black jacket with the words "Apple Bottom Jeans" written on it.

LiAnn may be in need of medication.

Police say there is a cause for concern for her mental well being.

Missing girl found safe

Update: Meriden police say a 14-year-old girl missing since Monday night was found safe Wednesday afternoon.

Police say Liann Hall voluntarily ran away from home Monday, prompting a two-day search by police. Several state troopers and local police searched the downtown area Tuesday morning after receiving a tip but were unable to locate her.

On Wednesday afternoon, she was found safe in Meriden.

Police continue to search for Liann Hall, a 14-year-old girl last seen Monday night.

Police say she was last seen at her home at 90 Green Road about 10:30 p.m., where she lives with her foster mother and other family members. She may be in need of medication and police say there is concern about her mental well being.

She previously lived in a foster home in Plainville and was adopted by that family.

Liann is described as a 14-year-old white girl, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds with straight brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing blue flannel pajama pants and black "Ugg" style boots, police say. Police say she may also be wearing a black jacket with the words "Apple Bottom Jeans" written on it.

State police assisted Meriden Police in a search of the downtown area near the train station Tuesday morning. A police dog assisted search of the area where a possible reported sighting had occurred was unsuccessful and the sightings could not be confirmed.

Anyone who sees Liann Hall or has any information regarding her location is asked to call Meriden Police.
