Actually she did mention him, and sounds like .. well to be honest, like most suicidal people who think their loved ones are really going to be better off without them, and here that includes trenton after he is found.

I do believe something happened and she was involved, but i am not going to say for sure she was. Just my leaning is that she was. However this note definitely sounds like something i have seen before and the thinking is exactly what i would expect for a suicidal person. That whatever momentary sadness there will be, their lovd ones will be far better off with the suicidal person dead and gone.

Many other things make me suspect her, but not this note


My thinking seems to be along the line of yours, VC. The rational that others will be better off can be the biggest factor in actually carrying out the suicide. I think getting up the courage to do it would interrupt any logical thinking too. That might explain why there weren't more references to Trenton in the notes. I think it was pain over Trenton that pushed her to kill herself, but I don't know if it was pain of guilt or pain of loss.
