Pat explain the signifiance of this new arrest.

He's a 19 yr old person Geoffrey van Cromvoirt, we are permitted to name him he has not been charged with anything.

He acted as a security guard in his father's company.

Conflicting stories about whether he knows Joran, some say he didn't, some say he did.

His sister is a police officer in the same place the investigation is taking place

His father owns a private investigative agency, has contact and done work with the police

There's an issue of potential blood evidence. You said a year ago, they came up with a t-shirt that belongs to the security company this young man's father owns. At the time it didn't mean much, at this time there is a connection to forensics. Everything at this point is up in the air

Nancy:

As you see, the father Mr. Holloway is expressing renewed hope. We now have Jossy Mansur with us. WHo is this new guy

Jossy:

He's been described all over the place, 19 year old working with his father at the hotels, we call him a beach bum, here he used to work with Gerold Dompig's son with VIsibility Team ...

Nancy:

that's quite a lot of connections to Natalee case. This guy GVC his dad owns the security company that did security for the HI His sister is on the police force at the precinct that was investigating the HOlloway case

What's his connection this new guy, the Dutch can hold him for 8 days, he's being questioned, what is his connection with a shirt that was found on the south end of the island that has forensics on it

Jossy:

I don't know anything about that, about 10 motnsh ago a shirt or uniform of his father, half buried on the sand and his father was interrogatred at that time but nothing came of it.

Nancy:

Where was the shirt found in connection with where Joran says he left Natalee.

Jossy:

Way on the other side of the island

Why are the authorities holding this young man if he's not a suspect

Jossy:

Very strange, we were under the impression from our contacts that he is a suspect but suddenly they don't want to call him that but a detainee. If they hold you they suspect you, so I don't know

Nancy:

They could be holding him from knowing material info to the case, disposal of a body, this guy may not be connected to the death we're talking about Geoffrey Van Cromvoirt. This is very important in my mind, while Joran's lawyer has stated that his client does not know GVC, what's the word on the island, do they know each other

Jossy:

We have no way of knowing yet, we have to look at school records, if they've been seen together, but right now we can't say for sure.

Nancy:

Pat LaLama, we do believe that this new arrestee knows Steve Croes, remember him, the party boat DJ. He was taken into custody, released. We know those two know each other,

Pat:

First of all it's my understanding authorities do say Joran and his buddies ran in the same circle, same club as this newest person. Remember the party boat DJ was held, was being looked at diligently, once again let go, those two do know each other.

It's 6 degrees of separation but not enough to put it all together.

Nancy:

This young man being questioned now, he worked for the beach patrol, he's 19 years old, was he patrolling at any time the beach where Natalee

We have no knowledge, it's very hard, we'd have to go back with the hotel and do a lot of other things. He used to work for the VIsibility Team

Dave:

It lookes positive, we haven't had anything come about in a number of months, maybe this is a stepping stone

Nancy:

What do you know about this guy

Dave:

I didn't know anything about him until I heard his initials on some report late Saturday, never heard of him before.

Nancy:

have you seen the police files

Dave:

I've seen bits and pieces of some statements, but not the complete files.

Nancy:

Did you see anything about the shirt with forensics or this beach patrol

Dave:

Karl Penhaul reported on the shirt in the first few days, that a shirt was found and sunglasses. what they did we don't know.

Nancy:

You have been very convinced throughout that Joran and the Kalpoes are responsible for Natalee's disappearance.

Dave:

I still know they know a lot more than they tell us, whether they're directly involved I'd have to stay on same road as the police. J2K's are the primary suspects, there's just too much info that leads to them

Nancy:

What is the single strongest evidence that they are responsible.

Dave:

You have all the lies, a police statement that Deepak buried her in the sand, whether that's true or not we'll see, they lied about being in the field where the gardener caught them, they tried to get another little girl to be an alibi for them on that

Nancy:

I'm confused where this guy is coming from. We've never heard his name before. I know there was a recreation on Dutch tv, we had that and it brought in some tips, now this arrest, is there any connection

Dave:

There possibly is, there were about 60 tips, I know the prosecutor is excited about all of the tips and she's working very well.
